ORIGINAL: tazzygirl "The man"? [8|] The solutions you have offered, that i have seen, is to provide immediate legalization to these people who are here illegally and to legalize drugs so the economy of Mexico can prosper. Yet, both of these are, currently, against the law. quote:
there is no reason for a cop to ask me for ID. In this country we have a constitutional right to be protected from unreasonable search and seizure. This law is an abridgment of the constitution.... Isnt being here illegally against the constitution as well? If we wish to use the Constitution as a reason to protect our own rights, we must use that same document to deny the actions of others who do not enter this country legally. You know, when wars break out around the world the neighbors of those countries are expected to take in some of the refugees. If they do not the world tends to look down on them for not considering human suffering and rights. Now you may not want to look at what is happening down in Mexico as a war, but it is a war. This war is funded by OUR people buying drugs. You are stating that we have no responsibility? It is our prohibition against drugs that has caused the destabilization of the Mexican government. Do you have a better solution? I would recommend that you consider who is responsible for the drug money crossing the border before you answer
