I have no experience as a Dominant but, as a Dom I would like to make my sub more dominant. Of course she would be submissive to me, but I would like to make her more dominant and more assertive in her relationships with other people. Especially if I encountered someone with issues with their self-esteem and self-confidence (which is quite often the case with submissives) I would do my best to solve these issues and to make them more assertive, self-confident and dominant. One of their tasks as my subs would also be to dominate me when I want it, which would allow them to experience being in charge, being in control (a certain ego boost), while at the same time satisfying my switchy desires.

I presume you mean to make her more dominant in her personality and show more confidence and assertiveness in her day to day world? I'm not sure you understand the difference between dominant orientation, dominant personality and being a top. Can you tell me what you consider the differences to be?

Really, there might be a lot of Dom(me)s with issues about their self-esteem and self-confidence and many of them might be quite insecure beneath their dominant appearance. Maybe some of them even became doms, JUST BECAUSE of these issues, in order to heal their wounded ego or something like that.

But the ones who stick around are usually more actual dominants who try to use their dominance as a shield so they won't have to deal with the issues. Please to be responding to first questions?

Being a submissive and knowing quite a few, why do you assume we have self esteem issues?? Quite the opposite from those i know. Why would dominating you help with those afore mentioned issues, we are sub, we dont wish to dominate.
