In this case, it actually might, Master Tim. Someone started a rumor that Obama's parents were never married. To me, it makes no difference. But, by law, it could. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/8/1409.html § 1409. Children born out of wedlock Now, to me, having learned that Obama studies were heavy into Constitutional Law, i do not find his actions unusual. His studies would have him in good standing for this argument. He knows his rights, he knows the law better than anyone on these boards. With all the politics, backstabbing, dirty deeds, ect in the political arean, if there was anything to support the notion that Obama is not eligible, he never would have come close to being President. Neither party would allow the risk of being found out that they perpetuated this level of crime against the US people, not to mention the Constitution.... and either other party would love to crow that the other party committed such a crime. Get real. They may cover up an affair. But to find out they covered up an ineligible president?
