ORIGINAL: Aynne88 No I wasn't trying to be flippant. I am a huge "organic" food person, as in "Food Inc." My meat comes from local farms and not the grocery store. I get what you are saying, I just think that living in Maine, I will continue to enjoy my lobster. [;)]. It was "wicked good". I have considered a little "organic meat", if I am fairly sure of where it came from. The thing is Anne, after a while you don't care if you ever eat meat again, organic or not. The thought of eating anything that was walking around doesn't really appeal to me. I do want to try some organic turkey one day, before I die. I really didn't want to start another "vegetarian" thread, I know it is not for everyone. I don't attempt to push it on anyone. Most people that work with me, aren't even aware I don't eat meat, I don't even talk about it. I just turn down all the meat they offer me, and never put it on my plate. After they KEEP trying to get me to eat a damn piece of chicken, I will often tell them, I don't eat meat. Every now and then, someone will say, no meat on your plate? I was curious about those that will continue to eat seafood. Thanks for posting, Anne!!
