As noted here: http://www.collarchat.com/m_3227997/mpage_10/tm.htm there are some misguided souls who think yarn is the source of all evil. As we have been modsmacked for hijacking said thread, I thought I would start one here.

What say you, ladies and gents?

It makes my old mom happy, so how evil can it be? Also, I think it just may be Knight is worried that kyra will knit him a sweater, and he'll get stuck wearing it.

A lot can go wrong, it seems...

This should blatantly have been a poll, Wyld...

I'm trying to frame a joke about 'woolly thinking' but I'm struggling.

Yarn is particularly good when one lives in a cold climate. Here I am consigned to knitting baby blankets.

There can be no peace with Yarn. There can be no coddeling of Yarn lovers.

Appeasement,is not possible. It did not work with Hitler, it will not work with yarn!

Beautiful, natural fibers - good.
One pound "super saver" skeins of synthetic orlon from Hobby Lobby - evil.

I use those when I have to crochet for people I really don't like.

And don't forget - those of us who have yarn, have a large selection of (albeit blunt) needles.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark that we won't get the info out of him to do that.......although it would be funny if yarn actually started arriving in their mail box!

(edited for spelling, which I completely blame on Jefff)
