They grew up spoilt, entitled, and vaccinated for free, and they don't think anyone else should be and don't feel they should give back to their community.
And they fuck up every on-line 'best book' list with fuckity fuck Ayn Rand who was spoilt, entitled, and didn't feel she should give back to her community 'cuz her daddy had slaves and she didn't get to waa waa waa.
Wups, that's six.
A libertarian is just a rich sociopath.
Seven.

I didn't say I was opposite to government or that I wanted big government.  I think it would be a wise idea, IF we legalized it, to make money back from what we've lost on prisons and everything else and try to bring down the national debt.

Just how does reducing the prison population cost the taxpayer money?
Perhaps you should start "blazing" it may help you to think in a little more linear fashion.

That quote is perfection. Especially if you refer to American libertarians :-) .

I see you've met our dear Julia, Asmoda. Yes. She stalks. You'll also find her standard approach in any discussion as the first quote in her sig-line.

Have fun!

Where would we find your standard approach to any discussion dick?
Character assassination, ad hominem attacks, mindless bullshit and right wing rhetoric?

I don't think you read what I typed correctly.  -Blinks.-  Over the last few years we've spent quite a bit of tax payer money on prisons.  If we decriminalized a lot of the drug abuse, and turned marijuana into a cash crop, we could clear out the prisons, and then make money off of the cash crop we've created, thus getting money back for all of the money we spent on said prisons being so filled to the brim with drug abusers.

Perhaps you should start blazing.  ^_^

Teehee.  Thanks.  I'm enjoying myself.  Even if I do end up pissing off a few people in the process.

Learning the difference between pissing someone off and them laughing at you is real important on this board.. unless humiliation is your thing

-Shrugs.-  I tend to laugh back most of the time.  I've been honest and upfront in everything I've said thus far.  If people want to take things out of context and try to put words in my mouth, I'll respond as politely as I can without being an ass.  I would like not to piss people off, but if it happens, what am I to do?

Pick 2

Unlike the Democrates they give more than lip service to the idea of Gay Marriage and have that recognition of rights actually as a plank in their party platform.

Unlike Republicans they recognize that you are either pro choice or anti choice and that abortion is the side issue seen through that refractory lens.

Even if they're personally pro-life, they'll generally vote pro-choice because they don't want to push their personal views on you.

There's plenty of poor libertarians as well. Never understand why somebody living hand to mouth would want to see a return to feudalism, but I suppose it takes all sorts.

Could you please define feudalism in your words.  I'm a little perplexed at this reference.

The removal of all checks on the free flow of capitalism, leading to the emergence of a new aristocracy (who have all of the money) and an underclass of worthless scum with no legal protection from the rich folk who'd be able to do as they please.
Of course, the libertarian dream would not allow a proper heriditatry aristocracy, but with people inheriting their parent's money and no opportunities for social mobility for the scum, the effect would most likely be much the same in a generation or two. A few landowners, and a lot more people who don't matter. Feudalism.

I disagree with your desire to create new taxes but I clearly misread your post.
Perhaps I should take your advice.

Perhaps make it a private industry?  In Virginia, the ABC stores are owned by the state, but McDonnell is talking about selling them and allowing them to be privately owned.  Just thinking out loud.

The state owned ABC stores generate a huge amount of revenue for the state but...I am a fan of free enterprise and I remain unconvinced that a "sin" tax is a good idea. I am not saying that alcohol and tobacco should not be taxed but not from the standpoint of sin so much as a public health measure.

They did. Maybe Kropotkin and Bakunin were libertarians as well?
