I will have to admit that the entire Libertarian Platform doesn't necassarily fit my taste, but it does seem to do better than most others. As far as I know.

1. I am a stounch advocate of personal soveriegnty, liberty, responsibility and self reliance.

2. Small government, minimal regulation and each man's ability to become great at the work of his own hand. That means I'm against entitlement and restrictive programs, all of them, for me too. Yeah, I know this will draw out Thompson, but it is what it is.

On a side note, I'm personally working on this border problem we face, attempting to determine what I think the real problem is and what might possibly fix it.

Concurrently I have party issues with reproductive rights, some ideas in line with civil rights or rather the lack thereof, as well as some property rights issues.

I am always glad to discuss topics of interest with you. I am not sure that we disagree on as many points as you might think.
I would be interested in which government regulations should be done away with?

How about we enforce the current laws like the ones against hiring undocumented workers...You know the one that says it is a $10,000 fine (although I read recently that the fine had been raised to $16,000) and/or five years in the federal penitentary for each illegal.

Wow....there's a question for a long term discussion (so many regs so little time ). I do however believe if our nation is to survive we are going to have to address both which regulations and programs need reformed, how much or complete eliminated.

Just for instance: I would actually love to see reform/improvement and stricter enforcement in Monopoly laws. I don't like these mega-companies. But we may need their mega strength to compete in  global market. Kind of Un-Libertarian of me I know. But  a man to ridgid to grow and understand a changing world might be eaten by it.

There are many things I think need help, or changed one way or another, I just don't have the expertise to sound competent talking about all of them without researching each item. But I am putting in the leg work into advancing my understand of things.

Agreed....

You might want to read "Marx on Economics". He gets quite detailed concerning monopolies and thier non nationalist bias.
