While it may be an interesting side panel, to wonder at how MissAsylum knows a couple of people of such extremes experiences, I really am surprised that the reaction here is to turn her question around on her and suggest that she's delusional or just lying.

Some of you seemingly can't imagine it's possible that some people want to do dangerous, harmful, even horrific things, and call it their kink. I personal know of real life cases as extreme as those she's mentioned. And I suppose they can rightly call it their kink, as much as anyone with a more benign kink. You might want to use a more severe word for it, such as compulson or pathology - but their desire to do it is, I think, like the desire to do something milder. The difference is in lacking the conscience that prevents you from actually doing it. The question is, can they call it 'sane' or ethical or right? I've known people to make a case - whether anyone else agrees or not - for their right to make choices that others don't consider "sane."

At the point that edge play starts looking over the edge - to put it euphemistically - , I'm probably more openminded than most. But if I were to find that someone had managed to harm someone I cared for, to an extent such as dismemberment, well, they would be very lucky if I didn't do something less than "sane," myself.

i had the same reaction when he told me. but anyway, thanks for your input. as with the crazy things that i attract, its my fault for them happening. i let down my typically very high gaurd and nothing but chaos came out of it. i went from 3 years of no problems to 3 months of nothing but problems. since i've gone back to how i was before, nothing has happened that was out of the ordinary. this was just an instance of what i had heard. and since i have not met the dominant that my client had talked about(and i really dont care to) , i cant really say if he is just great at mind fuckery or is just nuts.

nah. he's African- American, has a good income, and hates politics.

Cool. The chances are slim that he'll turn into a genocidal maniac. [:D]

Idi Amin..........

Exactly. There have been like, thousands of black people in the world, and you can only name 1 genocidal maniac off the top of your head.

Although seeing as he's African, not African-American, and was definitely very into politics, I think you can only count him as 1/3 of a genocidal maniac, because he made money off that shit. And a 0.33 per 1000 ratio definitely falls into "slim chances."

scropiomoon727 -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 8:41:29 AM)

Abuse in alternative lifestyles seems common. The laws were different when my mom did volunteer work in a womans clinic. I heard of cases where cops would show up on a domestic only to find two woman. A butch and a bottom that had her a$$ beat. And they'd literally be rolling on the ground laughing. Years ago, in the early 90s I learned how to do divination with playing cards and there is a warning sign. An 8 of spades between two other spades. And with other spades in the line indicating the type of warning. One was:

Dangerous or risky sex.

I'm not into the normal risk factors so that kind of narrows it down. ;)

I guess I consider this owning up to my own future. Alternative anything attracts weirdos. Medicine or sexual practices. Real S&M is supposed to be a dual nature. Sadists are really masochists, masochists are really sadists. I dont know if I agree with that theory based on my own experience.

I was reading a blog from a sub about how she has met men that are abusive that hide behind the lilfestyle as a dom just to abuse women. Reminds me of what my mom told me about agressive lesbians. You have to get one of your lesbian friend to "talk to her" to get her off your back. I'm not a woman so I dont have that problem.

But plenty of read-between-the-lines value there.

the dom tried to force my client into sawing off one of his legs(the right one specificly) because he was into people with missing limbs. i know that is a fetish, but i thought i applied to those ALREADY missing a limb, but this dom wanted the honour of removing my client's leg himself. also, i recieved a message from somebody who said that he has an extreme kink. he said that he is going through some medical problems and would pay somebody to sexually abuse him and torture him before they kill him.

Why is it that people on the internet have the strangest problems [&:]

Missassylum, I dig your chuck taylors....And you are as cute as a bug in a rug. But you are fucking bonkers but not in a horrible boil the bunny way, either. You probably can't help it. I'm sure your upbringing did you no huge favors.

You should not get married. It won't work. You are too young and way too fucking crazy.

You should come to Chicago and let Jeffff and I refuckstart your brain and then maybe, after a year or so of intensive fucking, we could set you back upon the path towards mental salvation.

If ya gotta be loony tunes you might as well be a nutsack cutie pie.....Nothing worse than being ugly and crazy. The bonus is that crazy people tend to be great fucks, the shit they say!!!. lawdy lawdy, My word!!!

So, your out of your mind but trapped in a smokin' bod....It could be worse.

while i respect your post, i have to disagree. the way my anxiety disorder affects me is that i'm a workaholic. i work so much because i am afraid to the point of being paranoid because i think i could become homeless. i'm sure if one were to do a 6 degrees of seperation, they could find a connection between my disorder and me being concerned about the matters of human life in some kind of way. but i don't see how it relates directly. but if you have an idea, please share it.

Only idea that may help you would be shock therapy (imo)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 10:54:43 AM)

"Kink" is a small word that covers a lot. Kind of like "fetish". There are folks out there into WEIRD SHIT. Because we are into some rather abby-normal things ourselves, those folks get lumped in with us.

There's this set of twins (Scottish, I think) where one got his arm amputated and the other twin has it GRAFTED ONTO HIS CHEST. Srsly. http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extreme-body-modification-twin-amputates-arm-to-give-his-brother-third-arm I am into body mods, but that one just freaks me the fuck OUT.

Anyway, why is amputation guy any more wack than castration guy, and the many dolcett guys? There are a lot of crazies out there, and if you are a cute young lady who is also a pro dominant, well... you're gonna see more of them than most folks.

shock me into what exactly?

divi -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 12:25:44 PM)

sighs ... reality perhaps ...

MissAsylum -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 12:33:09 PM)

i hate to admit that me being a professional has a great deal to do with the craziness that comes my way. and yes people pay for fantasy fulfillment(god i can never spell that right), so yes, i am often treated like an automatic kink machine(not complaining, i'm used to it), i would never involve myself with anything illegal. i'm going to just assume people think that i have no soul or moral standards and that i'll do anything for money. i'd be fucking rich by now.

MissAsylum -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 12:35:46 PM)

thanks for the offer domi, but i don't do black religious figureheads....or anteaters.

MissAsylum -> RE: Is "kinky" becoming the new codeword for "crazy"? (7/8/2010 12:38:22 PM)

sorry, but i like the bizzare world aside from reality that you claim that i am in. by what virtue, i'm not sure. but thanks for the suggestion.

Reminds me of one of my favourite Mel Brooks quotes -

"Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die."

He said that on his week long interview with Bob Costas back in the early nineties if I recall.  Its stayed with me as well.  Gave me a kick to see it here! [:D]

Kinky crazy it depends what angle your looking at it from, I thought pet play was crazy now I love it. Have I gone crazy because I've always been kinky.
