Shit. Almost anything of his before '96 and he some form of bad ass. Seems he's going back to it too even as a brief appearance with "The Other Guys"

Aynne88, the only time I hear the "N" word is...from black people...and in rap music...usually blared from cars while someone is cleaning them or gossiping with a neighbor, and wants to share the music with the whole neighborhood for 1-3 hours.  I've lived in California, Florida, Texas, West Virginia, Ohio, Washington, and Wyoming.  My friends and I, or even acquaintences, do not drive by in cars and sling that word around.  I also do not call my "white" friends honkeys or whitey (I leave that to my step brothers, who are all black), and I have never called a hispanic a spick or an Italian a dago or whatever.  We have better things to do.

Lastly, as a feminist and a liberal white woman, let me tell ya, I wouldn't want to trade places in the discrimination challenge with any brown skinned male anytime soon. I am not stupid, I see the carte blanche my caucasian-ness gets me. I don't see how any white person can say without being intellectually dishonest that they face any amount of racism in comparison.

I'm a "white person" though I prefer to be called caucasian, and yes, I have been in the position of being a MINORITY many times.  I lived in Van Nuys, California where hispanics were the majority in my neighborhood and in all the stores in any given direction.  I also spent a year in Dayton, Ohio, where I was definitely a member of a teeny minority where "blacks" were the hands down majority.  Roots played, so my little gradeschool ass got kicked to get even for all the oppression of the people and to pay back the damage done to Kunta Kinte.

Please do not presume to call anyone "intellectually dishonest" who has faced racism and chose to...be gracious and turn the other cheek.

You have your experiences, and I have mine.  I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with racism...but there's a time to realize something about enemies when one grows up.  The old adage of...being careful not to become just like them.  Someone treating me in a prejudiced manner will not force me to become just like them and act like turnabout is fair play.

I will be so kind to them that they feel like the jackass that they are...isn't this something like MLK and Ghandi talked about?

I personally would like to kick your ass over what happened to Kunta Kinte.

I would also kick your ass because your post made you look like a complete moron.

QFT. Especially the fucked up laughing emoticon. Oh, and all of her posts as well in the entire thread.

FR directed to nearly everyone on this thread:

Competitive suffering is a game invented by THE MAN to keep the little people scrapping amongst themselves for the crumbs THE MAN throws from the table of privilege. When you engage in this activity, a bunch of rich old white dudes win. You don't want that do you? Respect is not a finite resource. All human beings deserve to be treated with a fundamental level of respect and decency. Cataloguing  the numerous exceptions assorted groups have claimed to this rule does little to make the world a better place.

don't i get a say in this?

They're going to tell you "no".

Ladies, You are trying my patience so I went straight to the source. Your set of holes are incredibly disappointed in the both of you.

Boi, Your holes are disgusted with you and your "choice" of continually forcing them to be homofied and veganed out. They want some meat and they want it now!!! They also mentioned if it it might be possible to wrap them up in some sort of "girly" fashions every now and then. Would a skirt or a dress kill you? Your tits mentioned something about a halter top. They all were yammerin' on and on about thongs and perfume and boys.... Thought those fuckers would never shut up!!... Cut them some slack and come to Chicago.

MissA, Your holes are equally as disappointed with you and the choices that you have forced them to endure. They wonder if you even have functioning eyes and have possibly have lost your sense of smell, too boot. Before our discussion they were considering a mutiny and abandoning you for some Laotian chick that resides down the way.....Your holes long for white cock. Big fat juicy white cock....With credit!!!

MissA, I'llz book your flight, gonna set you up ringside fo show. Will hollah at you wiff a cmail all the pertinent deets. Don't need to get into all of the finsho out here. Boo, look forward to tappin' dat shit....One mo' thing. The crackerz at United hate the sistahs and demand dat you keep your hair care products in nothin mo than free ounce vials. Jussa heads up.

Boi, I will contact you on the parameters of your flight, airline, gates, departure time and arrival etc...If you have not flown lately make sure you are aware of all procedures and guidelines before reaching the airport.

Give MissKitty a kiss from me.

Have a great flight!!!

Hahahaha oh my god. Priceless.

This is something I must ask...and I ask it every time I get the chance....

What's you're theory on the lack of color within the SM community?

Mine has to do with a massive influx of individuals who are focused on their Star Wars roleplaying and learning the vulcan nerve pinch...or some shit. And I think it's like a comic convention....99% white folks there too. Well...except for...

Wanna chime in on the lack of color thing too?

boi

I won't speak for Marini, but My theory on this is perpetual cycle.  In many communities we don't have more people of certain backgrounds because we don't already have people involved with those same backgrounds.  In larger metropolitan areas, this isn't especially the case, but in many communities across the country, a person attending a munch for the first time is going to still find a group comprised by a high percentage, if not entirely white.  Depending on the group and how welcome a person feels there, they may not return at all because they don't identify with the other attendees.

So, let's say for whatever reason, that person does not return.  That means the process is repeated the following month when another new person shows up and sees no one that they identify with, and they think they don't belong there.  Even in cases where the person is welcomed with open arms, they may see the group as a dead end if they only play/date those of the same race.  They don't see any prospects in being there, so there may not be an incentive to return.

If we had more standing members in the smaller communities that do no identify as white, this would happen less.

As one of the very, very, few, resident black folk around here, I will now say something:

I prefer you call me a black woman.

the end.

Peace Out

And this has been my experience with the black people I know personally. They prefer to be called " Black " .

I have alot of African friends/co workers. They all prefer to be called Black, rather than African. I remember when I asked why, I was told that there are plenty of White Africans, so African has nothing to do with color/race. I found that interesting, had never thought about all the White, born and raised , Africans.
