Status: offline 		On a current thread I just learned drooling is gross. On another thread I learned anal sex is a hard limit. On yet another some folks are being chastised for not falling in love before they play.

We have had some posters here lately who thing beating a person is a BAD BAD thing.

And of course, we must remember to treat even the stupidest newbies with respect.

When did this place turn into Castle Realm?

In a LESS controvercial light I will say this.

The EASIER Softer way, has become the baseline for so many.

There is far too many people espouting things that weaken the Master/slave Dynamic in my mind... and the Newbies are coming in droves and then getting told it's okay to be ignorant of the history of the lifestyle you are trying to engage in.

Personally most of the time I just shake my head and wonder where they got the ideas they got..... then I realize they just made them up.

BTW...I agree completely with you.

One of my biggest turn ons in all of this is not having control or setting any rules for him.
I get off on knowing that anything he wants to do to me will be done.
He may have to tie me down for somethings so that I don't hit him or try to get away.
If I put up a fight over something and he said "oh ok..we won't do that" then I think I'd look at him differently and the relationship would suffer if not end.
He's at his most primal when he does the most dirty and sadistic things he can.
Nothing in life has come close to turning me on like it does when I see that look in his eyes at those moments.

I should clarify, there is nothing wrong with the easier softer way if it's your thing. It's just odd that it's become so common compared to what I am used to here.

Where else should they get their ideas? Who cares about the "history" of ms relationships? Does such a thing even exist? Shouldn't it be about finding whatever dynamic works for the individuals involved? Or should they be concerned with passing some invisble bar of "legitimate bdsm" that doesn't even exist. See, this is the attitude that causes clueless newbies to come out here and feel like they're not "fitting in" with the lables and all that other crap. Do i have to be x y and z to consider myself a submissive?. Is it right that my master expects me to do a b and c, and I don't want to?

What answers do they get? Um have you checked your common sense at the door? If it feels wrong to you, then it's wrong. Bdsm doesn't mean you give up your own preferences, you just need to find someone compatible

Then when they share stuff, we judge them as too soft too hard, too stupid, or simply not bdsm enough.


Who cares if drool is gross to someone? Getting shit on is gross to a lot of people, yet we find that acceptable, but the person who doesn't want drool running down their body is soft. And maybe the person who loves anal sex fears needles and vice versa. Who's the soft one? The wrong one? The pussy?

Sorry to be the odd man out you guys, but this is just looking like another "one true way" bitch and moan session all around.
