Where else should they get their ideas? Who cares about the "history" of ms relationships? Does such a thing even exist? Shouldn't it be about finding whatever dynamic works for the individuals involved? Or should they be concerned with passing some invisble bar of "legitimate bdsm" that doesn't even exist. See, this is the attitude that causes clueless newbies to come out here and feel like they're not "fitting in" with the lables and all that other crap. Do i have to be x y and z to consider myself a submissive?. Is it right that my master expects me to do a b and c, and I don't want to?

What answers do they get? Um have you checked your common sense at the door? If it feels wrong to you, then it's wrong. Bdsm doesn't mean you give up your own preferences, you just need to find someone compatible

Then when they share stuff, we judge them as too soft too hard, too stupid, or simply not bdsm enough.


Who cares if drool is gross to someone? Getting shit on is gross to a lot of people, yet we find that acceptable, but the person who doesn't want drool running down their body is soft. And maybe the person who loves anal sex fears needles and vice versa. Who's the soft one? The wrong one? The pussy?

Sorry to be the odd man out you guys, but this is just looking like another "one true way" bitch and moan session all around.

Then I started to get a creepy feeling about it, so I stopped going there eons ago.

Status: offline 		I remember when I first got here in 07 and there were threads remembering the good ol days of CM. I wondered what it musta been like in them good ol days. I was finding I wasnt really having the issues some of the folks complaining did.

They said it was boring, I didnt find it so. I found some of the folks really funny and informative. I am glad some of the posters who usta chime in are no longer annoying me with their povs but it aint a thing. I miss some of the ones who usta be here too.

I find it funny in a different way when people on this site say things that seem to allude to certain peeps should be here and others notsmuch. I see this as a pretty freaky website in terms of our society so when it seems to be elitist I dont get it.

I read a post recently where someone was saying that the old timers around here belong here (yes paraphrasing) and then there are some folks who hang around and dont realize they dont belong. I was like wtf? I am likely one of those that doesnt belong in these eyes perhaps.

I dunno, it is a freak flag place, let your freak flag fly. If others dont like it oh well, it is a freaking underworld website, if others dig you and make you feel part of the crowd that is nice too.

I happen to like the so-called controversial pov's even when they are too lame, or too extreme for me or some of the rest of you. I appreciate someone taking a different look on thing and sense the way they are up against the wall in the line of fire, so to speak to do so at times. I dig the underdog, I can appreciate people with vastly differing pov's and ways of expressing them.

I would rather have a collection of all sorts than a bunch of people forming some sort of chained in circle claiming they are the ones who belong and have it all together and continually patting themselves and each other on the back to affirm it. I find that far more annoying.

You alls can be a tough crowd. Me included, I can be too at times.

Status: offline 		I did recently tell someone that they may not belong here.  Point blank, if somebody can't deal with the idea that sadists and masochists are on a BDSM site, that really is their problem.  The acronym doesn't change because somebody can't handle that some of us want to hurt people and some people want to be hurt.

Yes, a good portion of the membership has changed here.  Yes, I also think there are probably more who enjoy soft and fluffy (the term that's being used, not Mine) than harder players.  Personally, I don't have an issue with that, even though soft and fluffy isn't going to work for Me.  It just shows Me that certain people wouldn't be compatible with Me.  Very much the same as monogamous people wouldn't fit in My poly family.  That doesn't create a problem or that people out there are doing perfectly fine doing this thing the way they do it.

At the same time, I'm doing what I do.  It isn't going to suit everyone.  I still introduce Myself to folks with My scene name and it immediately follows with "when I say sadist, I mean it".  I can play light, but it really isn't My preference.  I don't see that changing in the foreseeable future.
