i don't know whether i agree with you or not. i like strong, ethical, aggressive men too, but i can't say i like alpha males. To me, that term refers to someone whose need to be in charge and get their way is so great, that is becomes almost a weakness, like a child throwing a temper tantrum. i can't tell if my definition of the term "REAL MAN" is the same, or different from yours. i don't like men who throw emotional fits and break furniture, or holler all the time. To me, that smacks of weakness, not strength. i want someone with strong feelings, and yet has the discipline to control those feelings, and be logical and fair, even when they're being harsh. i also want Someone who respects me, and respects my intelligence, even though He's the one in control. i can't tell if i am agreeing or disagreeing with you there. i will agree with you on one thing. i think the PC thing is overdone, and i would much rather be with Someone who knows His mind and speaks directly and honestly, even bluntly and tactlessly, than with Someone who spends their time walking on eggshells. To me, that is a "pussified man". Why do some men act like that? i don't know. i would guess it's probably pressures from society. There is a really strong PC pressure these days. i think it just intimidates some people. Having said that, i pride myself on standing up for what i believe in, even if it goes against what's popular. i would not respect a man who allowed himself to be defined by others, or who cowed to do what others wanted from him. i respect courage, integrity, and honesty above all else. pam
