Look you are overheating about a comment from hillwilliam or whomever that was made here without context to time or place. Was it last year, 10 years ago, 20 years ago?.....Was it a professional job he was going for or was it entry level. It was a comment slid in there for the desired purpose of crying about AA. Leave it at that

Leave it at that It was during the summer of 1988, The job title was "field biologist" Skills required, Degree in Biology (U miami '82 cum laude, Grad work in Cetology from FIU.) laboratory skills, boat handling, (I had handled boats from kayaks to a 75' Hatteras in heavy weather) SCUBA preferred (ex commercial diver here). The job couldn't be advertised as "affirmative action only" or "minorities only" as that violated the TOS of the Miami Herald. The job was never filled as a qualified minority candidate never showed up.
