Back when I was in biology it went to homo sapiens sapiens
with variegations of mongoloid, negroid and caucusoid.
Back then, the concept of race in those terms was politically incorrect, they were called variegations:

However, I see that the concept of race is back, for instance; the white folk are now broken up into
Eastern European
Nordic
Western European
And french and some other stuff are a race of their own........
The idea was not to offend anyone, I am an anachronism now and the current words in this area are beyond me, I suppose, just like NAACP is an anachronism in words, but not in intent. I never kept up with it because I find the concept of folks fighting over genetically superior tanning solutions, and somehow saying that anyone who doesnt have the same meatsack I am wearing makes them stupider, or smarter, or fundamentally different than me absurdly obnoxious, as well as absurdly hilarious. And if you know me (or if you don't), and you're offended, I assure you I don't give a fuck.
