I am getting old ron...I just found out yesterday that "cheese toast" is a racial slur...no I am not shittin' you. It can get you killed in some neighborhoods.

OK, Huntie, I'm all in, I did not google, but I sat and pondered the shit outta this, and other than 'cheese eater' which is old hat, how in the fuck and what in the fuck is the etymology of that such that 'cheese toast' is a racist slur? I cannot connect the dots, so fill me in.

The etymology of it is beyond me but the meaning is a derogatory term for the east coast crips (a black gang) used by latino gangsters (la familia and the mexican mafia).
It was brand new to me when I learned of it last week but evidently it is common. I guess I just don't get out much any more.
