Once you go Anteater you never go back!

I don't have a problem with people who want to patronize them. But all of these people are basically in the adult sex industry and I'm looking for something REAL. I wish I could just click some sort of button that allowed me to exclude all the scammers and "dommes" who really are just looking for money.

What's really interesting about your proposal is you're expecting this feature without an out of pocket cost. However, when you're out and about and frequenting venues where women are present you'd confront the same thing. In fact, you'd be oblivious to their motivations and forced to rely on your common sense and conversational skills to determine what's accurate or embellished. It's a novel concept.

Pssst-EW, I run the local chapter of PFAAB (Parents and Friends of Anteaters and Bunnies). If you want to talk *any time*, we have resources that can help people like you, ok?

I mean really, it drives me crazy. Between the pro dommes, financial dommes, scam dommes, dommes that want you to join some pay web site and dommes that want to sell you their pictures or videos or audio recordings, you've eliminated about 85 percent of the dommes who have profiles here.

I don't have a problem with people who want to patronize them. But all of these people are basically in the adult sex industry and I'm looking for something REAL. Simply put, when you exclude all the categories of dommes that have an agenda besides establishing an intimate relationship with someone else, you've widdled down an already narrow list to practically nothing.

I've come to realize this website is basically a profit center and the odds of me finding someone in my area interested in BDSM who meets my standards on this site is less than the odds of me finding someone who meets those standards in real life.

I used to contact women, but I put a lot of effort into it and some of the women didn't even bother to read the e-mail. I go to my "sent items" folder and find a message I spent 20 minutes to wriye was "deleted unread."

I'm sorry people are upset. I really didn't think what I was asking for was a big deal.

Evidently, it's a REAL big deal, and people feel they have to ridicule and insult me for even suggesting it.

Is there a way to delete the original post? I don't want people to be so upset and mad. What was I thinking? What a STUPID idea.

I particularly pissed off "dommes" who do this for a living. Ironic, huh?

People are indoctrinated here, just like anywhere else. The desire to have hookers excluded from your search results is not an unreasonable one. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just clinging to a system they identify with, namely CM.

But that would be asking someone to take responsibility for themselves and you know how unacceptable that is right?

QSM

He's taking responsibility for ALL of us by suggesting the implementation of a feature that would BENEFIT all of us and could be added easily.

What makes more sense to you? ALL the CM users having to sift through and eliminate pro dommes by hand, or the web administrators adding a feature to improve the quality of the service for us?

See, you say 'not unreasonable', I say 'unrealistic and unworkable'. You say 'clinging to', I say 'showing support for', because this place is what it is and I've met some pretty wonderful people and had some fantastic experiences generated by memos from profiles on CM.

I get that you haven't had that experience, and that's sad for you, but I have to say this place has treated me pretty well.

Hence the advice he has received above to pursue real life possibilities.

I myself have met some very real, very pliable humans via this site.

I consider that to be my share of the 'profit center'.

Thank you for calling the CBF Trying hotline. Your call will not be recorded for quality purposes because quality is something you have to put effort into. Please listen carefully to the following options.

Press 1 for a pro domme, press 2 for a non pro domme.

You have pressed 2. Thank you.

Press 1 for casual sex, press 2 for a relationship.

You have pressed 2. Please hold the line while we arrange your relationship for you.

*cue music*

Your relationship is now ready. To expedite the process, we have billed your credit card for a year's worth of dates, a wedding, and a divorce. Please press the hash key at any time to finalize your divorce.

Please visit our website at push1togetalife.com, your feedback is appreciated.

Categorizing people and organising them in an easily managable way you can sort through is what this website is about, and what all other websites of this nature are about. It's why we prefer it over a chat-room.

I, for one, think the OP was right on the money.

The response has been ridiculous. Guy comes and makes a suggestion that could improve the site --significantly in my opinion-- and he gets jumped on.

VERY REASONABLE SUGGESTION IN THE OP

You are right, and they are wrong. For some reason many people here seem TOTALLY commited to sustaining the status quo, even to their own detriment.

I have had excellent luck with this site. I am not necessarily here to find a mate, but I have found people here that I have dated, one I was involved with for 4 years. I am willing to travel, etc, if the enticement is good enough.

If you are not finding what you seek the solution to that is in the mirror, it isn't CMs fault that you can't find it, so many of us have had good opportunities derived from this site

When you make a statement like this you have to explain why. This is what seperates opinion from fact. Why is it impossible to have a "Pro Domme" flag attached to peoples profile?

OF COURSE your experience has been different here. You're a female. Guess how many pro dom males I've seen listed:

ZERO.

By the way, those of you that endorsed the idea, why would you think the scammers and pros would stick to their category?

This is where I think the whole thing would fall apart. No, I don't think the scammers and pros will conveniently label themselves and stick themselves in the right category. There are people all over this site and others that misrepresent themselves on the subject of money and other things like gender or orientation or marital status...asking for another category isn't going to guarantee truth in advertising on the part of the person putting up the profile. I don't necessarily think that asking for another category is a bad thing, but I don't really feel it would be successful in the way that the people who ask for it envision.

YOU still decide what's best for you by determining the criteria of your search, with the system the OP is suggesting.
