I would just like to appologise to all the Ladies I have called girl I did not mean any disrespect. I simply thought it was better that some of the name you call yourslves eg slutwhore ect.

I absolutely loathe it when a stranger calls me girl ( or for that matter ... when someone I know calls me girl !) It reminds me of this friend of mine who's asshole husband would call her "woman" in front of me or in front of company. -----> "Woman, go get us a beer." I was always secretly waiting for him to get out his club, start making gorilla noises, hunch over, grab her by the hair and start dragging her around going oooga mooga.

I myself have always preferred the "James Bond or Rhett Butler" gentleman type man over the caveman or Gor type primitive style. Not to mention the red-neck in your face type of man. Very unattractive to me. But hey to each their own. As I always say .. a dream to some, a nightmare for others.

Strangely, I have rarely had adverse comments here or in life when I refer to a female as Lass and yet when I refer to a bloke as Lad or Laddy unless they are British or specifically a Scot I get all sorts of testosterone induced responses. I remember well some cases when I have addressed the odd poster as either "My dear chap" or "Old chap" as being derogative or talking down to people. It is the way I talk normally. I still get funny looks at time when out when I comment "Jolly good show". I remember someone asking RavenMuse if people talked like I do in the UK and he replied that the only place they did was at Polo matches. But then too I was blasted to referring to a lass her as a bonza shieler, a typical Australian-ism certainly from the days of my youth and a jolly good compliment too.
