Sooo, if I fell in love with a woman, and loved her soft skin, big fluffy breasts and adored snuggling with her in bed - yet didn't have sex with her, but only her husband. Bi? Not Bi? What if I enjoy a woman or man going down on me, but dont' go down on women? Bi? Not Bi? Throw in kissing. I kiss women, but I don't have sexual relationships with them?

The thing about labeling myself Bi-sexual - is others have these preconceived notions that I am potentially available sexually. I would list myself as bi-sexual, but then when a woman contacts me, and I tell her ohh wow, you have great tits, I'd like to smother myself in them, but yeah I don't want to have sex with you. She's probably not going to be amused. I am also likely to say, ooo your skin is so soft, can I pet it? Ok, anyway, enough of all that.

Yes, I prefer to draw women. Women's bodies are all curvy and sexy and soft and have great angles. I could easily worship the female form, as i find it asthetically pleasing without it being sexually appealing to me.

Bi? Not Bi? Need to know how to label myself so I dont' appear as a rant in any more profile journals than I already do.

Second, are there REALLY folks who think that "bisexual" means being sexually attracted to ALL individuals of either sex? Just cuz you don't want to get it on with everyone of the same sex doesn't make someone "less gay"; same for being het. If a het male isn't attracted to ALL females, does that make him not "het"? "Conditional bisexuality" or "heteroflexible" is still a cop out. Justify it all you want but if you find yourself attracted to some individuals of either sex, you're bi. That's what the word means.

Well to me, heteroflexible means things like, if I have enough to drink I might start making out with the girl I'm dancing with at the club, or like, a super crush on your best friend, or talking about how hot Megan Fox is.

I don't have a "sexual orientation identity" lol but I've called myself heteroflexible in the past and that's what it means to me. The thought of going down on a woman or fingering a woman or anything like that totally grosses me out, and I don't actually have attraction to girls I meet random places, it's just like a side effect of bonding with my friends. So to me it means something different from bisexual, which means that you're attracted to both genders. Heteroflexible is sort of like "I'm not really attracted to girls but in the right circumstance I won't discriminate."

I just don't understand the need to label ones self in such a manner anyway. Why not, if heteroflexible, bi, metrosexual (I hate that term too), just say, "I like sex."? It's so much simpler, and covers the subject pretty darned well.

I like intensely bonding with a person I care about. Sex is incredibly fun in those circumstances but sex alone, just going through the motions, is never any good for me.

I was pretty surprised to see the post that started this thread.  I've been in the goth scene here since '94, and here at least, the term "boi" had always referred to an extremely effeminate male.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Goth%20Boi

It wasn't until very recently (last couple years or so?) that I've started to see the term "boi" by itself without "Goth" in front of it.

are boi's strictly a lesbian phenomenon?

Dykes have been using the word as far back as the late 70's (so far as I can tell from the information I can find) as a push back against "extremist" lesbian feminism limiting sex to non-penetrative activities and an expression of "girl" power.

boi

Jen tell that to Stacy Peralta and the the rest of the Z-boys (skaters of Zephyr shop) who were using "skater boi" before the mid 1970's.

This is why there is room for more than one definition for words... in fact the dictionary is filled with words that have more than one meaning...

Mr. Knucklehead (cuz you keep referring to yourself as such),

I can't find any references to Mr. Peralta or any of the "Z-Boys" calling themselves "boi" or "skater boi". There's plenty of references for "boy" or "boys" or "skateboarders" but not "boi". Please, provide a reference.

boi

Yes yes yes...I'm digging through some boxes that are yet packed to find my own references.

What if skaters came up with the term "bio" independently of how you use it, it isn't like they copied it, they just used it in a different way...

It isn't like it is copyrighted
