Which blogs, StrangerThan?

How many tea party rallys have you been to and where were they held?

I know this was not directed at me, and no snark either, but I went to one in Perham, MN.

But that's me and it counts for nothin for nothin

tazzygirl -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 2:22:52 PM)

I dont understand. What does Strangerthan's post about blogs, and joe's post about which blogs, have to do with anyone attending anything?

Lucylastic -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 2:35:34 PM)

It doesnt

domiguy -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 2:40:07 PM)

Stranger doesn't get that a shit load of republicans showing up for a meeting hosted by one of the biggest douchebag Republicans alive who works for an organization that only promotes the Republican agenda just might be a political meeting.

Of course it wasn't political.

Dream on. What were they doing there? Spreading the warmth and good cheer of the Republicans party?

It's nice to get away from people like stranger.

You tend to come onto a thread, post snarky comments like this one, no substance, just attacks, then settle back to watch the fall out. you arent cute. often you dont make sense.

again, i would like to know what the posts about blogs have to do with attending a rally... from your own fingertips.

Of course I get it.

There's really nothing there for you to bitch about. They held a camp out type meeting where everyone prayed and talked soldiers and studiously avoided giving you something to truly bitch about.

Which is about fucking impossible. But ya know, from what I read, it is probably as close as one can get to providing as little bitchable material as possible.

But go for it.

I'm not sure who it was directed at. I never been to one.

Education secretary urged his employees to go to Sharpton's rally

Read more at the Washington Examiner: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/local/Education-secretary-urged-his-employees-to-go-to-Sharpton_s-rally-651280-101839293.html#ixzz0y8fOZGFv

Imagine the shrill Liberal cries of horror had a Republican administration done something like that

Imagine you ever reading your own links.

Or is it more of your selective editing, hoping no one else will read the entire article?

The basis of their complaint was this from your link:

"It sends a signal that activity on behalf of one side of a political debate is expected within a department...."

So on one hand Beck's rally was not a political event, but on the other hand Sharpton's rally commemorating MLK was a political event.

How does that work?

And the reason the memo was sent was also explained in your own article.

The Secretary of Education was invited to speak at the event about..................wait for it....................wait
for it..............education.

Lucylastic -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 3:25:15 PM)

This company too 400 photos of the rally
here it is explained
http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=20e143f6-2e3c-43ce-ad35-7c91a7b25f56&m=false&i=0:0:24&c=-0.0861982:-0.00918372:-0.153656&z=544.14709227836&d=2.83582598776638:-2.37162271181819:-1.58650261419592&p=0:0&t=False
also CBS explanations of their figure of less than 100,000
now until someone comes up with a better "way to accurately count" numbers, Ill go with this..thanks

One fact that people who got their opinion about Beck from other radio/TV personalities, rather than by listening to the guy themselves, will never believe is how non-political, and non-partisan, the guy is.

I'm not a real devotee, but I do find some of the historical stuff to be fascinating.

What a crock!!!!!

Beck is non-political and non-partisan.  [sm=biggrin.gif]

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, and yes I do watch the moron just for the comedic value.

Glenn Beck says Obama aspires to be Lucifer ...

Glenn Beck victory mosque

"It's like the damn Planet of the Apes!"

jlf1961 -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 4:49:42 PM)

Lets see, Truckinslave has said that Glen Beck is not partisan or political.

Glen Beck has compared President Obama to Hitler, called him a NAZI (which proves that Beck is an Idiot, the NAZI party was not socialist but Fascist, and ultra right wing, check your history,) He has criticized Presidential Policies, programs, statements, opinions etc.

Glen Beck has attacked various democrats and democrat sponsored programs.

Glen Beck has compared Democrats to Communists and NAZIs.

Glen Beck has supported Republicans, Republican programs.

Glen Beck never attacks a Republican politicians.

And he is not partisan or political.

Now that is the funniest thing I have read in the last 24 hours. It also makes me wonder about the IQ of the person making the statement and does add to the cliche` about truck drivers.

FYI, I was an owner operator for 8 years and drove company trucks for an additional 5 years.

Amazingly, the atheists have not uttered a word about this Rally or the call to America to return to god... lol

Gotta love politics!

Lucylastic -> RE: Beck rally (8/31/2010 5:05:09 PM)

It struck me as yet more of Beck's attempt to set himself up as the leader of a movement. I have no doubt he will run for office or attempt to declare himself in charge in the near future.

I know this would apply to the BBC:

It would apply to collarchat members as well, I am sure.  [;)]

First you complain of the BBC's bias, but show no shame in posting from the Washington Examiner which is blatantly conservative.

Now you are using NewsBusters again.

Let me ask you Sanity, is NewsBusters unbiased?

As a religious person, i didnt see the point either. I just firmly believe religion is a personal thing, not something that should be wrapped up into politics.
