Ah yes, the mindless conservative rant... quote:
ORIGINAL: RacerJim I can believe the[y] can't refute the message so desparage the messenger(s) tactic rulemylife stooped to. Yes, because this hasn't been a tactic of conservatives since Mr. Obama started running for public office.... Tell me, RacerJim, how often did (and still do) conservatives attack Mr. Obama on his citizenship or religion? How often did they attack him on the facts of Health Care (i.e. Death Panels)? Yes, conservatives are quite guilty of the same tactic your accusing liberals of doing. And do you, or other conservatives own up to it? Course not, if conservatives stated they have been hypocrits for the past twenty years, the GOP would implode. quote:
ORIGINAL: RacerJim It's obvious that liberals who didn't attend the Beck rally have a fetish to disbelieve and desparage. Yes, because there is no such thing as scribes to write down what was said, nor video of the speech? What millenium do you live in? Or is it, you believe liberals are not allowed to practice their 1st Amendment rights as well? quote:
ORIGINAL: RacerJim Unless/until you provide substantive evidence to the contrary the large crowd at Glenn Beck's "RESTORING HONOR" rally actually did have enough respect and honor to clean up after themselves, and there are plenty of liberal mainstream-media stories/pictures/videos on the web substantiating that liberals left "The Mall" a mess after the "Million Man March", anti-war protests, and Obama's Inauguration as well as Denver's Invesco Field/Mile High Stadium after the 2008 DNC Nomination/General Election Kick Off rally...those liberal mainstream-media stories/pictures/videos speak for themselves, no conservative "dumbass" comments needed. Holy Run-On Sentences, Batman! Are you making an arguement that 87,000 people picked up after themselves? If that was even remotely true, why did the rally organization hire a clean up company to go over the grounds at the end of the day and on into the next one? Or is those 'evil liberals' who sneak in, and planted garbage to make the group look bad? Or that the actions of one person, dictate the actions of the whole? Given human nature, its highly doubtful 87,000 people picked up even half the garbage left there afterward. Unless RacerJim, you can provide documented evidence, of every cigarette butt being picked up. After all, what percentage of that crowd are smokers? What is the common action of smokers when they are done smoking a cigarette? quote:
ORIGINAL: RacerJim Finally, I have lived less than 10-miles from "The Mall" for 20+ years and have attended numerous large scale events there...4th of July(s), Memorial Day(s), National Heritage/Arts & Crafts Festival(s), National WWII Memorial Dedication Ceremony, etc. Never, ever, have I seen or heard of clean-up crews cleaning "The Mall" spotless while lots of attendees were still there but, rather, only after "The Mall" was essentially vacant (overnight). Yes, blindly loyal persons often over look that, which would destroy their arguement. I've been to tons of large rallies, and the place is usually a mess. Doesnt matter if it was conservative or liberal. Didn't matter that in one case, there was a 'keep the community clean' rally by some conservatives. Human nature and observation of said nature, seems to be, that a few thousand people in one area, will generate trash. When a few, ten's of thousands are involved, the amount of trash grows at the same rate. So if you want to make an arguement that is contrary to human behavior, well then....present your burden of evidence. I'm sure those in the mental health field would love to see your observations, data, and how you conducted your oberservations.
