BTW... I have read some very enlighting profiles and journals of new submissives, not ALL are brief. Not that what they put in their profile matters after all you are the exception to their rules right? Lol

If I were to receive an email like that, I would think that someone had a god complex, who thought most submissive's were lumps of clay that needed an addiction to submission, by god writing me a bible in my email.

He'd have to have a cock made of gold, magical powers and I would have to have a very poor image of myself if I wanted to worship it.

If one is as picky and special as all that, why would one speak to a stranger as if they were handicapped and insult them? I mean, really, if the email writer is that wonderful and they expect so much, wouldn't most intelligent life just say no? Not very effective I am sure. Are addicted submissive lumps of clay really responding?

I'm not Cali but when I see a profile or journal that catches my attention, I simply say hello and point out what about their profile or journal caught my attention. It is typically short and to the point. This is an example I have actually sent someone in the past several days " I came across your profile and when I read your journal I found the quote by Mark Twain absolutely beautiful and true. ~ DIS"

Unfortunately I have not been able to post the plethora of emails that we get thanking us for our very comprehensive letter so we need to post a forum about this.

If we get an equal number of responses for as against will you make the video?

OP you seriously dont see the difference between a public post and a private email? Of course you can't post private emails from people it is againt the TOS of the forums, but knowing you probably thought you were the exception to that didnt ya?

Yep. I send them one to three paragraphs that sum up why I'm interested and what I offer, and it's personalized. You seem to equate the value of a letter in the sheer number of its words. And 99% of the words are cut and paste and irrelevant to the recipient's wants or needs. I would absolutely hate to get an email like yours and would report it.

Let me sum this up for you:

1, The site instituted a new policy against cut and paste emails.
2. You have been sending cut and paste emails and irritating recipients.
3. You are angry that you no longer will be able to send out voluminous emails and irritate.

I suggest that you take the time to read profiles and respond to things in the profiles when sending out mails. And for God's sake, make them concise and to the point.

Not angry about not being able to send out our intro letter if that is the rule we will deal but I feel it is a very anti-dom/me protocol. So I have stated my dislike of such a onerous rule but if the community as a whole feels that is the right thing to do great.

I think this will limit activity here to the scammers and already owners and slaves but we shall see.

As we have got more successful as writers our time to weed out people is rather limited also we are looking for a needle in a hay stack so to speak, the perfect slave for us.

It has been our experience with the 20 odd sub/slaves who we have trained that what we require is not the run of the mill sub/slave.

I don't think it specifically targets Dominants. The message that I received this morning that included the little red banner of text was from a submissive, so it's not something that only effects one side of the kneel. I've sent out a number of emails today and it hasn't been an issue. Then again, I don't think anything that I've sent could have been considered spam.

We shall see. I seem to remember in a Yahoo group that did the same thing that a group of regulars decided to exclude many of the ones who came to join because they didn't have blah blah so they said they were spamming them. Because this kept many from joining the group disbanded after a few months.

We shall see if this new protection is for the many or the few.
