I thought that is what you said. Please forgive me if I misunderstood you. I hope you will stop attibuting to me things I never said, and positions I do not hold.

I have tried to find a silver lining in every unfortunate thing that has happened to me in life. I believe most bad experiences can be sublimated. I think you are wrong to fault yourself. It is possible to do everything right, and still be a victim of circumstance.

ranja wrote: "i have felt angry and pathetic but i have never had a need to take that out on another man."

I have treated over 200 survivors and there was a point in every one of their lives when they wanted to see their perp get a taste of his own medicine. Normal human beings believe in poetic justice. Males have testosterone and generally direct their anger into physical and sexual aggression. Females tend to internalize their anger, where the anger truns into self-hate which leads to depression.

I am happy that you were able to find the road to healing on your own. Others are not so fortunate. There are survivors in their 50s who have still not gotten over their childhood abuse.

i prefer to 'fault' myself, to some extent atleast... for me it means i have the power to do something about it... if i was totally blameless it is a much worse thing to deal with.

i do not care how many people you have dealt with... my attacker later got involved with a depressed woman... i think he got himself all the negativity he deserves without me having to lift a finger, what goes around comes around.

i had low self esteem and perhaps self hate before i got into the mess... it made me an easy target... after i had been a target i managed to pull myself together and fix me.

everybody who has been a victim has another story and another way of dealing with it- or not, indeed some are stuck... and some might take up karate

and maybe some turn into man hating dominatrixes, who knows

Most male and female survivors were abused by males. This changes the dynamic for masochistic male bottoms. I have no experience treating masochistic male bottoms.

Technically, you are not "treating" anyone.  You don't have the academic requirements to do so.  If you are not licensed in any state, you shouldn't be advertising that you are conducting therapy with anyone.

I don't really know the answers to your questions. There are a lot of things I don't know. Because males have testosterone they are more likely to direct their anger and aggression outward. In any event, I wouldn't recommend any male vent his anger through BDSM because our society has a double-standard here. Society will not have any sympathy for such a male.

This has nothing to do with gender.  Nobody should be directing their anger at another human being.  The fact that you are advocating this in direct opposition to one of the basic concepts of S/m leaves you in a very slim minority on the subject.

The concept is also flawed as that you wish to support your argument that society is what doesn't accept males striking others in anger, when it is more an ethical standard.  Again, this doesn't work according to gender.  I would not say that a woman with an instrument to cause pain in her hand is any safer than a male with the same implement.  I have said the same thing unilaterally when it comes to the gender issue over the years.

I am a great believer in risk aware consensual kink.  The risks of harm increase when a top does not have control of their emotional issues.  It goes up even more if you are dealing with someone who is not familiar with topping, reading body language, knowing the safe zones and dangerous zones of the body, and are unpredictable.  That is the situation that you are boasting that you are making money from.

Considering how many posts that you have made to say that you wouldn't be posting any more over the last few days, and were not truthful about it, I can't see why anyone would believe the things you choose to type up on the net.  It shows that you have impulse control problems of your own, which makes you not qualified to facilitate others who may have the same issue during a scene.

You don't know what you are talkiing about. I will just let you ramble on. This is a free country, and you have a right to believe in foolish nonsense if you like. You know nothing about me. You know nothing about the law. You know very little about BDSM.

I have been introducing survivors to masochistic bottoms for over 25 years. I have never had an unsatisfied customer. I offer double money back. No one has ever asked for their money back. No one has ever sued me. All have thanked me. You can go to Hell.

I'd stick up for LadyP, but I don't think she needs my help.

As an aside LadyP, I can't hear your Australian accent with your purple text.  But maybe the purple text is just as exotic...

Then name your credentials. Name the institution(s) you attended and the degrees you obtained.

As far as I'm concerned you can go to Hell. Your opinion means nothing to me. Zilch. I don't care what you think about me.

Then why do you go to such lengths to make people think you know what you're doing when you're just a predator pretending to help people in a weakened state?

By the way, weren't you leaving?

What good what that do? That would not change anyone's position here one iota. They would still attack me as intensely as before. Why would I want to give out personal information here? People will believe what they want to believe. I see no reason to do anything for closed-minded, hostile, nasty people. People who ask me nicely get answers to their questions. Those here with an ax to grind and a prosecutorial mentality can go fly a kite. I don't owe any of you anything. You seem to have a false sense of entitlement.

Actually no, stef, I wouldn't, not on a bet. Thanx for caring enough to make sure, though..
