I never know quite how to deal with people like this. My whole idea of wiitwd is so sex positive that it's just...bizarre reading the words of someone who associates it with such negative things.

What good what that do? That would not change anyone's position here one iota. They would still attack me as intensely as before. Why would I want to give out personal information here? People will believe what they want to believe. I see no reason to do anything for closed-minded, hostile, nasty people. People who ask me nicely get answers to their questions. Those here with an ax to grind and a prosecutorial mentality can go fly a kite. I don't owe any of you anything. You seem to have a false sense of entitlement.

quite a big desire to expect people being nicely when you insult others to get off their "hallucinating" meds (however you wrote that word earlier)...

What do you expect from someone who used to refer to himself as a "wannabe Dom"?  It's pretty clear he's never been in any sort of healthy BDSM relationship and instead only seeks relationships that revolve around him trying to "fix" women who have some serious issues.  Those who have their shit together will likely have nothing to do with him.  Some of his older posts are amazingly illuminating as to what kind of person he truly is.

Well, I don't know what kind of "survivors" you are refering to, but I don't think it's a very good idea to engage in bdsm in order to release anger. Where I'm involved, I prefer my partner to be in control of himself, or I won't get near him. In fact, I don't even hang out on a "friend" basis with people who carry and exhibit constant anger, nevermind in a close personal relationship.

As for myself, no I can't imagine being pissed off enough at anything to release my anger on another person's body, even if they wanted it. Not my thing. I might be able to top someone in order to bring them pleasure, but that would be coming from a completely different motivation.

If some people like to engage in this on a consentual level, hey, have at it. Whatever floats your boat.

I agree.

Like most people, I get angry. Some of that anger is because of other people. I think the best way to deal with anger tends to run one of two ways for me.

Either I take a BIG step back and look at the situation from another perspective which usually causes the anger to disappear.......OR I do something constructive, that doesn't involve another person, and burn it off. Cleaning is always a good thing. So is weeding a garden.....although it is occasionally dangerous to the flowers..

How about we just all agree you are a, possibly dangerous (if there is any stupid twit that actually takes you seriously), windbag?

Works for me!

Can we safeword out of this, or is this thread implicitly consensual non-consent?

I was hoping the mods would kill this thread. I changed my mind. I would rather let people watch him make a fool out of himself and realize that it is very important to check out a person's legitimate qualifications before allowing someone to give you therapy for anything.

You don't know what you are talkiing about. I will just let you ramble on. This is a free country, and you have a right to believe in foolish nonsense if you like. You know nothing about me. You know nothing about the law. You know very little about BDSM.

You are correct that I know nothing about you.  I have only your current and prior posts to go by.  Please feel free to post your credentials.  I have no problem posting Mine.  Any experiences that I have, I've been putting on these boards for the last three and a half years.

I do know a bit about the law.  I do know that it is illegal to advertise yourself as a therapist and/or conducting therapy without a license.  That part is real simple.

As for knowing little about BDSM, I will correct you on that.  I have played publicly for the last six years in nine different states, four of which, I've been a presenter.  Most notably, 1763 in Atlanta, GA.  Some of the presentations that I've done have been reviewed on this site.  I just did an event last month and I have another coming in October.  Also, I was Chairman of the Board for AIRS for the 2007/2008 term.

I have been introducing survivors to masochistic bottoms for over 25 years. I have never had an unsatisfied customer. I offer double money back. No one has ever asked for their money back. No one has ever sued me. All have thanked me. You can go to Hell.

Cool.  Has even one person other than yourself written anything on this site about these experiences?  I'll happily take a past post.

Like it or not, your practices of exchanging money for BDSM services (at best) makes you a pimp, not a therapist.

I did ask you nicely. I haven't commented on the thread once, except to clarify that you were being sarcastic when people were misunderstanding that. If you're worried about privacy, don't name the schools you went to, just name the degrees.

like...when I quoted you from your first post....there of course I quoted you wrongly....right....now who needs therapy here?

However, I am out of this train wreck, no point to feed trolls

We are -ALL- "survivors", Lady Pact is right (as usual; clear, fact-based, no bullshit), and the OP is a(nother) troll.
You can't win this, OP. Have fun getting off on trying, though. We're enjoying the show.. sort of.

LadyHib, we are all harassed on a daily basis, especially here! :)

But, no I was not sexually abused either.

I was never remotely sexually abused either sexyred and I hate that stereotype. .

I know survivors are supposed to repress and bottle-up their anger, and turn it inward where it becomes self-hate and leads to depression. I know it is dangerous to the psyche of a sub to take a flogger and release her anger on a bottom, because all subs are emotionally fragile things, but I am wondering if there are any survivors here who think they would be helped by taking out their anger on a male bottom? I've been a little facetious in my wording here. I don't think most subs are emotionally fragile, and I don't think it would hurt a sub to release her anger, but the last time I posted messages here everyone else thought it was morally wrong for a sub to release her anger this way. In any event, I am curious if there are any subs who think they could benefit from this.

Releasing of emotions is a human condition. who ever said that a sub should not, needs their head examined
Sounds like you are simply looking for someone to beat your rear, that is a topic best suited for your profile

I am a sexual abuse survivor and never once have I wanted to heal myself by taking out my anger on a person who was not directly involved in my suffering. If any therapist ever suggested such a thing to me I would have been outta there pronto. The Op's views are very warped and possibly very dangerous to the one receiving his help and anyone helping him provide that type of therapy. I am a proud survivor because I chose to no longer be a victim. I partake in BDSM because I enjoy it not because I was once abused and needed BSDM as my outlet. I am however upset at the thought there are people interested in BDSM reading this thread who might think the practice of BDSM is directly related to being abused in any form. I would hope they do their own research and see that is not the case for most of us in the lifestyle.

I find yard work therapeutic in releasing anger.

I have a chain saw, a weed wacker, and a brand new bottle of rubbing alcohol.

Oops, almost forgot to mention I also have a fairly new shovel.
