ORIGINAL: Pavel Having seen other governments, and a couple of other countries, I'd really be amused to see everyone who threatens to leave the states, actually do so, and then proceed to compain about their new adopted lands. I'm rather a fan of just policeing up anyone who makes such statements, and shipping them to Quebec. Then again that could just be bitterness directed at my ex (seriously, somthing popped up that was sorta kinda not to her likeing "oh I'm so moving to europe/canada/whatever"). I'm really unimpressed by the conspiracy set. They fall all seem to fall into the typical mindset that if one part of a story does not jive to their satisfaction, the whole entire situation is rendered false. Of course, by disbelieveing their theories, anything you say to counter their assertions is discarded out of hand, as clearly you're one of "them." Ultimately, the conspriacy set relies on encountering people who know even less on the topic than themselves, to properly "educate" them in the "truth." When approaching a truth, or reality, you must ask all the questions, of everyone involved. If you hold the conspriacy set to the same standard of proof as they hold to the rest of the world, I would think you'd find them lacking. If the men in black really were out to supress whatever gibberish people cared to put out on the net, there'd be a lot less wackjob websites, and a whole lot more disappeared people. Of course, I've seen the effiency that the US government works at, and I imagine you'd have to sign the 132-4B (petition to kill paranoid person living in his mother's basement) form in triplicate, and then resubmit it four or five times because you didn't intial in the correct places. Still, if you insist on believeing the government is lying, and it's actually all some evil plot, then I'll let you in on a secret. Bert did it. %@$^ing muppets. Here's what I will say on this matter. The best propaganda encourages dissent, feeding it some scraps mixed with lies that cannot be swallowed. The infamous five frames of video footage is a pat example. The explosion has no shadow (in defiance of the laws of physics). The vapor trail is distinctly not like a commercial jet. Evidence at the Pentagon however distinctly shows the results of a plane impact. So, what happens is you have folks advocating things like a cruise missle strike because of these five frames, which obviously flies in the face of on-the-ground evidence. *meow*
