Is that so surprising? Two sightings in twenty years-how many people do you walk past in a year-how many people do you walk past in twenty? One hell of a lot of people-it would be weird if you never knew *any* of them...

Status: offline 		Suddenly discovering at age 13 that I was psychic and "seeing" my father's death right before it happened, and all of the stuff that went with it.
"Seeing" the PSA plane crash in San Diego...before it happened.

Lordy, I could go on for days. The other bizarre thing was buying something at an auction that was worth 100,000 times what I paid for it...and it was "made" on my 13th birthday. I still have it, too.

Status: offline 		Probably the weirdest was ringing the doorbell of good family friends and having the door answered by a 13 year old who was a dead-ringer for both my father and myself.  My half-brother?  High likely-hood.  (My Dad was probably gay.... this young man and I communicated upon the death of his mother when he wanted to give me some of my father's things that she had in her closet.  Mostly Shriner kind of stuff - Fez, etc.  I found out thru my sister who asked his sister.... anyway... yep.  Seems there is a gay gene.)  The weirdest part of all of this was that my new wife was on my arm and she was speechless when he answered the door (and left.)

And along those lines.... receiving a couple of phone calls from friends here in Denver asking whether I had moved.  Seems there was a news story on local TV station where a man was interviewed.  Again, a dead-ringer for myself - even had same style/color bathrobe (for which I am notorious among my friends.)  Another half-brother? Likely.

ETA: Meeting my sister's best friend under the Eiffel Tower with (of course) no pre-knowledge of each other's travel plans.

Another thing that happened. I put a new Herb Alpert cassette in my car's cassette player and my car caught on fire.

One snowy/icy night I was drinking at a house party. On my way out I slipped on the ice on the first step and slid on my behind down all of the steps and didn't spill a drop of my drink.

June 15th 2003 was Father's day and I had traveled to see mine. After we had all gone to bed, my step-mom woke me up to tell me my dad needed me.

He was in cardiac arrest and died despite CPR done by me and then continued attempts by ambulance crew and the hospital.

That is not the weird part... yet.

11 days later, the day after I returned to work, my mother died.... also suddenly, also of a heart attack.
This time I learned about it from someone from work as I had spent the night at a friend's. I had called into work to see if they needed anything, and was told then.
My parents had been divorced for over 30 years.
