I really have no possible idea for what constitutes "weird" anymore.

This evening I will walk into one of the nicest hotels in Albuquerque. I will open the door to find one of my favorite clients in full drag. I will turn off the lights and put him up against the window. Hands on the window (but not too much pressure). Legs spread. If he moves I stop and turn on the lights, which will fully illuminate him. Then I will proceed to spank and torment him in this position for several hours.

And yet, for me... the weirdest thing I will do today constitutes of cooking a steak in a new recipe with garlic butter...

Odd.

Alison

I was about 10 or 11 at the time. I answered the phone, no one was on the line. I hung it up and went to tell my parents that grandma was dead. We got a call 15 minutes later from the nursing home telling us that she had died.

Yup, I agree.  That is weird.  I wonder how much traffic she gets?  Maybe we should buy the "dungon"differnt.com web site?

I worked for one company where the Utah site director was named Bill Fohrman.  Due to various issues, he was let go, and was replaced with a man out of San Antonio named Bill Foreman.  No end of confusion.

Last week I was in staten island and I walked out of a liquor store just as some teens in a car tossed a bottle at me...which I caught.

They must have been going 30mph while tossing it and I caught it on reflex, dropped my jack daniels as I did it but it, the people around me just exclaimed as if I caught a game winning pop fly.

I have had so many strange, synchronistic magical things happen to me in my life I wouldn't know where to start. But the most recent has been over the last four days.

My "brother" Randall called me up from Providence, where he's visiting his son, who is in Uni there. By and by, we got talking about philosophical/metaphysical shit, which we sometimes do. We talked about Ego, how Ego keeps us from knowing who we really are; how it tricks us into thinking that we are what we do, or what we have, or who we know.

Ok, that was a strong dose of reality for me, so I settled back to think about all this stuff. Still thinking about it when the next night my real brother calls me from DC. Completely unbidden, he starts talking about Ego, how all that we see is Man's creation and our Egos keep us from seeing what is really there, how like what we perceive as solid matter is really empty space, and how we can't, in this plane, perceive the universe as it actually is. He even brings up the notion that we are just reflections of the true universe, and I know he doesn't read Scientific American, because in a recent issue there was an article about a new Physics theory that this universe is a holographic projection of what is actually real.

It's like this conversation was a continuation of my convo w/ Randall.

And these two convos, taken together, have really done a number on my head. It's like they are blasting me loose from a 30 year sleep wherein I forgot who I am. I am just shaken to the core. I mean, I have been changing some for the past 3 years (I'm not really all that kinky any more; some obsessive behavior has been "healed", for want of a better term), but this is like taking LSD after being a beer drinker for 30 years.

My friend Betsy came over yesterday to bring me some soup and to pick up some stuff I ordered for her, and by and by she must have noticed something different, because she starts kissing me and rubbing my dick and getting all seductive. Naturally I respond, but we both break it off - "What the fuck WAS that?" - 'cause we had been through it 3 years prior, and it was way too heavy and emotional and wasn't right.

I mean, this is really some heavy shit. I'm still trying to integrate all the stuff that got laid on me. It's like the heavy load is finally lifting, and I can be who I am instead of who I thought I was. Really powerful magical stuff going on.

Finding out that the guy that contacted me on alt. was actually the little boy now all grown up who's dad sold us our house. And that what was then my room was his when he and his brothers lived in the house.

The first time I ever got down on my knees to pray, I prayed for strength to get through a very tough financial time. I didn't pray for money - that would be greedy - but I prayed for strength. Then, an hour or so later, I found a check for $1700 - extra escrow money - in my desk drawer that I didn't realize was attached to my mortgage statement.

The IRS sent me $300  when I was in a really bad way financially.  I could not for the life of me figure out why they sent me this, honestly I was a little afraid to cash it.  So I called them and they said it was their error the check should not have been sent - but they would make a note and I can keep the money.

The IRS is being benevolent.  You tell me, what's weirder than that???

(that was a FR btw..)

Well, that sure tops the baby owl that flew into my house and went upstairs and perched on the chair in our office (back when I was married) on Halloween back around 2000.

Or when we went to Amsterdam, and took the train down to Gouda (How-da), where a retired colleage from Shell had rented a house for 6 months with his wife. We took a boat through the canals and out onto the lake, and, halfway through the trip, John turned to me and said, "I think I know that guy," a fellow passenger. Turns out they were boyhood friends, hadn't seen each other for over 50 years. All because Jennie and I went with John out on the boat THAT PARTICULAR TUESDAY. John reconnected with many of his childhood friends through him.

Or when Jennie and I were visiting one of King Ludwig's castles at Chiemsee, Bavaria, and we met a couple from the US. Three days later, we found ourselves sitting RIGHT NEXT TO THEM in the Vienna Opera House. How weird is that?

I could go on.

OK, I will go on.

My buddy Andrew and I were tripping at his sister's place in suburban Maryland (DC) back around 72 and we got to talking about how things seem to happen in series, in patterns. We started tossing an empty dixie cup between us. One of us dropped it, and it landed right side up. So we each took turns tossing it to each other, but letting it fall instead of catching it. EVERY SINGLE TIME, for a long time (20-30 minutes or so) it landed the SAME EXACT WAY. We stopped the experiment when it seemed that there was no point in continuing. It was just going to land that way. You try it.

I built a screened porch onto my house, and a little pond and waterfall a little ways away. I was sitting on the porch, back around 96 or so, sipping a beer. Completely quiet. Not even a breeze. All of a sudden, these three little dogwoods I had just above the waterfall started waving back and forth. Not a breeze. Wood Sprites? Hell if I know.

I could go on...

I spent a couple years living in the Fan District in Richmond VA back in ther early 70s. I was a Hippie God, if I do say so myself (there's a pic on a current forum thread here). Heh. SO, anyways, I was sitting on the steps at 1415 Grove Ave, where I hung out some 'cause I had some good friends there, and this really foxy chick walks by. I dunno where it came from, but I said, "They say a pretty girl is like a melody. What do you sound like?" Next thing I know, she's dragging me back to her apartment and we spend the afternoon balling. Fuck me, it actually worked! Blew my mind!

Man, I couldn't walk down the street in the Fan without getting tripped and beaten to the ground. SO many women...

Now, I COULD go on...
