yeh its like discussing radiation with someone who does not know what an atom is.

Well, you can't be expected to understand English terms any better than legal ones, I suppose.

Hey I am not the one who does not know the difference between legitimate power granted by enumeration/positive codifocation to government and peoples rights, or fails to grasp the "elements" of the treasonous sedition acts, and I apologize if I "overstand" your understanding with definitions out of law dictionaries showing how frivolous so much of the parlor jabber you people try to throw at each other as "fact".

Sorry Ron....didn't mean to come off as a tough guy.....perhaps it was my shock at seeing you accept RacerJim's version of events....lol.

Leaving aside your obvious resentment of people who don't talk like they learned English from a correspondence course advertised on the back cover of a comic, I'm afraid that you are the one who claims they're not blathering, in the face of a lot of evidence to the contrary.
(And if you are going to cut and paste wads of text out of websites devoted to reprinting documents, it'd help if you had enough of a basic understanding of English and your local legal system to cite stuff that's vaguely relevant. That's apparently a lost cause in your case, though...)

Real0ne -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/26/2010 8:35:20 AM)

so do you ever plan on stepping up to the plate with anything substantial or simply continue to attack the messenger because you dont like the message?

well you edited it from Real0ne to Racerjim but my statement still stands

backwards again, may want to review previous posts.

slvemike4u -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/26/2010 8:39:18 AM)

LOL....the facts are there realone,i'm sure someone with such a great legal mind will have no problem finding them.

mnottertail -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/26/2010 8:40:18 AM)

No, I did not accept his version of events out of hand (although Patton was a hero to my father, and was involved in several other liberations with the troops under his command, and saw him and whatnot, so he may have had a jaundiced eye in this matter....)

I thought I made it plain in the substantive part, just seeking out credible citations. (the credible is the thing, as well as citations whatsoever from some of these clowns (even dispshit prisonplanet ones, or brietbart so you can laugh at their ignorance).

I thought I read alot of Churchill, but obviously not all his vast collected works.

The only one that's relevant here is your statement that you're not blathering, I'm afraid.
If you don't understand what it means, you shouldn't have tried to argue that you don't do that, particularly when you attempt to do so with a load of blather...

I was certain Churchill mentions the son in law thing somewhere. I could be misremembering, though, as it's a long time since I read any of that stuff.

One of my many faults is my tendancy to shoot from the hip....as I said sorry for coming off like that.

We are sort of seeking fact in this thread, go back to your padded room and toy with your shit, bubba.

as always with your posts the correct answer is option C)  west law:

Law Encyclopedia: Sedition Top Home > Library > Law & Legal Issues > Law Encyclopedia

I go with option C

oh the flag, well show me the official code for it.

The US flag only has 3 colors, gold is a 4th and fringe is not trim.

So you advocate counterfeit flags by use of the US governent?

I see nothing in title 4 that prohibits it, nor in presidential proclamations or exectutive orders.

Everything backwards is a special kind of loonacy.

dont quit your day job man

(for those just coming into this government only has 17 enumerated powers and the power to do what is not prohibited is not included in those powers)

That was the first thing taught in constitution class in the 5th grade

the correct term for what ron said is extraconstitutional

ex·tra·con·sti·tu·tion·al play_w2("E0299500") adj. Beyond what is provided for in a constitution.
In other words outside their authorized jurisdiction

Do you know why Bush ran the Iraq war off the books there, Perry Mason?

Nothing in the law prohibits it.

Damn unsportsmanlike, we all say, nevertheless.......

it is only malum in se, not malum prohibitum.

You should get a day job, your nightschool correspondence courses from the Wesley Snipes School of Law at Batshit University are not gonna cover your traffic tickets.

lockedaway -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/26/2010 9:07:35 AM)

Hey Charles....this post #259....is one of the dumbest I have read.  Conservatism is what the country was founded on so why would conservatives leave?  I mean really...this is one dumb f'ing post.  The country was founded on the belief that we have inalienable rights; i.e. rights given to us by God.  Got it?  Those basic rights are the rights to life (meaning that your life cannot be taken away from you without substantive and procedural due process of law), liberty (liberty is different than freedom by the way, total freedom has no rules) and the pursuit of happiness (which is not the ability to read a good book but the right to keep the lion's share of the fruits of your labor).  Do you understand all of this so far?  Because these rights are given to us by God, no Congress, parliment or other political body (according to the framers) could take them away.........without first according you due process of law.  The framers believed that man was self governing and so government, being a necessary evil, had to be a government of limited power.  State governments were closest in proximity to the individual, had the most in common with the individual and afforded the greatest chance of redress, which is why state sovereignty was very important (and almost totally non-existent today).

Let's clear up another point that you simply can't seem to fathom.  NO ONE SAYS THAT TAXES SHOULD NOT BE COLLECTED.  Do you understand that painfully simple point?  The question is what the proper amount should be.  In the past 40 years there have been, approximately, 30 new taxes added to the books (Jesus...in only 40 years).  The top 2% of the country pays almost 40% of the taxes.  Do you understand?  THAT is a remarkably unfair burden.  Almost 50% of the country does not pay Federal Inome Tax.  That is also remarkably unfair.  EVERYONE has to pay into the kitty.  I'm sure someone can help me with the identity of the person who said this; "Democracy ends when 51% of the people believe they can be supported by the other 49%."  That is a loose paraphrase, by the way.

Conservatives believe in 1) limited Federal government, 2) secure borders, 3) no work means no money so a severely curtailed entitlement program for those that are able bodied, 4) a strong defense, 5) free markets, 6) quality through competition.  Ok...of all of that, tell me what you disagree with.  We are all waiting for your enormously cogent response.

Let me tell you the future.  At some point, there is going to be a flat tax that EVERYONE pays.  Hopefully it won't be a value added tax or any other secretive bullshit.  But we have no choice but to collect 90% of the tax base of this country.  No choice....we are bleeding out.

Oh...and Charles, do you know what the definition of patriotism is?  It is the love of the ideals on which your country was founded.  So for you to tell conservatives, who embrace the beliefs of the founding fathers OBVIOUSLY more than you do, to move to the Middle East makes you sound very ignorant of your country's history.

its outside their jurisdiction.

the law states 17 specific actions they have authority and they do not have the authority to go beyond it in as much as the constitution is concerned.

All you are doing is proving my point you know.

They were not granted the authority to make shit up as they go!

period  regardless of the convoluted sophistry you wish to use as your reasoning or lack thereof.

SHOW ME where they were granted authority to go beyond or expand the 17 enumerated points of authority.

I just threw you around like a fuckin rag doll, now go over in the corner by your dish and lay down.

I accept your ignorance, and your apology.

NO...he threw YOU around like a rag doll!  Answer his post.  He asked you some VERY valid questions.  Can you answer them CHAPTER AND VERSE or not?  That is the question.
