Really?  Could you let me know where you found out that a woman who likes a man who is older than his is only after his money )which I think is what you are implying.  are you saying that older men have no redeeming features other than the size of their bank balance?

And as for women becoming old as they age, I am 43 and regularly get told I look in my 30's (well apart from the guy who was 30 who asked me out on a date earlier this year who thought I was younger than him ha ha).  Gotta love good genes



I'm not saying the money is the only feature that attracts women to older men, it's just a single part of the spectrum, there is also something about old ugly wrinkly men who are rough around the edges that attracts women.

Also, if someone hit on you don't consider that an evidence men don't prefer younger women. Given the choice, men do tend to prefer younger female,
but a lot of times people are just lucky to be able to date any woman, so they will go out with you, but if a young hottie hits on them they are going to dump you and go out with her.

The internet tends to be populated by losers who also have much lower standards for females, than they would given the availability of other options.

Dude, I am more than double your age and have no problem attracting men of any age. For a guy with no picture even at a young age, spouting off just seems so... young. lol

When I dated a much older man I was 37, and he was twice my age.
He didn't have money.
He wasn't ugly and wrinkly or rough around the edges.

We had met in a social setting, grew to know each other well, and our attraction was for the person.

I was the last great love of his life.

My observation from some of my male friends is that some of them date much younger women because it makes their aging invisible to them.
And for one of them, that stopped when he realised that at nearly 50 while he could still charm the 20-30's, they bored each other when they tried conversing.

I rarely find comments hilarious on the Message Boards. I am more inclined to be thoughtful and surely intellectual in my reply. However in this instance, of reading your entry, I seriously laughed a hearty laugh in reading your reply.

Why? Because it is altogether nonsense and espoused without one shred of proof for which you present. Hilariously comical. Thank you though as humor is good for the soul, so I have come to learn over the years of becoming a mature gentleman.

Lest I forget, treat women with the respect and dignity due them and you will learn more of manhood than you thought possible. My proof? My Life lived in the process of becoming a man while coming to terms with sexual attraction, age and the true value of women in my Life!

Status: offline 		I haven't been attracted to 20 somethings in a long time. I guess they look so close to my son that I can only think of mothering them.
That said, I was on a tech call one day and the guy was asking me lots of impressive questions and talking to me in the way other techs who know me might do.. I found it hot. I looked at him, he was tall and lean with a mass of black curls and the bluest eyes I have ever seen. If I was thinking about a younger man, he would be it... and then I found out how old he was. Two years into his teens! OMG, he looked so mature! Thank goodness I never try to flirt with clients. After that I try only to view all younger men as if they are my son.

Status: offline 		I just can't get attracted to males young enough to be my son.  I was hit on recently at two different times by guys in that age bracket, and it just seemed more humorous to me than anything else.  I've been approached by guys that young at play parties and have had enjoyable scenes with them, but was not romantically or sexually attracted to them at all.

Status: offline 		i'm happy to be friendly with the younger set, i think experience-the been there done that factor-can be helpful to them. they're pretty to look at and might be a fun daydream occasionally, but a real relationship with one? not likely. i'm in my mid 40's, i have kids in their late teens, i'm not about to hop in the sack with someone who could just as easily date my kids!

She likes younger men, I like older, so we both gravitate towards those in their mid-thirties. Her current boyfriend is two years younger than mine. I find this very amusing.

Status: offline 		lol switch! cute! there's a kid who hangs out with my one child who i'd swear has ideas he shouldn't have, he's just very different from the other kids who hang out here and talk with me. i'm definitely not encouraging it, but it's a little flattering, lol. now if he had an older brother, maybe about ten yrs older i might bite, but he's got a sister. tsk tsk, a shame.

I consider myself more intelligent than the average peer of my age group, or a typical "bro",  if you will.
I tend to be objective in my views instead of flocking with the herd mentality that caters to typical self delusional sugar - coating of facts.

Perhaps when you get older, you will learn that your opinions aren't necessarily fact, and that arrogance doesn't make you right.

There are many people on CM who are in your age range and whose intelligence and thought processes impress me.
I appreciate and value their individuality.

This is likely to surprise you: you aren't as much of a snowflake as you think you are.
You sound similar to many other CM members, usually young men.

I wish I could read your posts and comment on something that stuck me as profound or witty.
Sadly, it is too herd-like to find the unique kernal of insight.

The good news is that now that you know there are others like you, you can perhaps find your tribe.
