While it was a comedy stunt, you can't help sympathizing with the concept of moderates standing up and taking this country back from the nonsense of the past few decades.

ok if you read what I said in my later post it might make sense
Im not going to repeat it here, but there were multiple reasons. yes the fact that people here said it would fail, is part of it, that it went well is awesome and that the crowd size outdid most expectations
funny that.
I certainly am not apologising for the reasons or for posting it, but you didnt have to read it.

I was at the rally, it was pretty sweet... Regardless of the exact count of people, the number was pretty huge... Fairly likely the largest crowd of people I'll ever be in.
