I got native american. I got over 150 years of treaties the so called american government broke repeatedly. I got a long line of Sitting Bull decendants being born on this soil... long before the europeans even knew about this continent. I got promises made, promises broken, and a nation of native americans lied too repeatedly by this so called government simply for the purpose of gold. Lets not forget why BigHorn was fought. I got Sitting Bull fought against the same tyranny that the US government declared against the British. You want to view him as a non-american? I think if he were alive today. he would thank you. I, and many like me, view him as a true american hero in all the sense of the word.

"Fair and balanced?" I like to watch Keith Olberman on MSNBC. He's unbalanced. I don't know how he thinks even lefties would believe him. Us Independents do love a good laugh though!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the name of the native american who really did kill Custer? And you are correct, Master Ron. Sitting Bull warned them not to come, repeatedly. That they were not moving off the land promised to them by treaty and moving onto a reservation as the government demanded all because a bunch of white men wanted the gold in the Black Hills. Honestly, this shouldnt even be a bone of contention considering how many people died for the greed.

Native Americans prefer to be called Native Americans... Not Indians... Not Native... Not Red Man... Definitely Not Injun... but Native Americans for that is what we are.
