yes i had a similar response when i first started to go to a club it was sanctuary in Dallas. i drove every Fri night from ft sam in san antonio to dallas and it was not till like the 3rd trip that i got to play. i also volunteered with the club and helped out when and where i could. now im not shy by any means so i would have to agree that it is skewed toward the new female wanting to play than the new male.

I am grateful that at any given time I have one possibility or another in the works and each day is a new day. Still, I recognize that I do not have all that I seek and it is more difficult for me to find what I seek than it is for a woman. Do I feel envy? I am unsure. Perhaps. Perhaps my answer would be different and more affirmative if I had not changed my circumstances and my access to experiences had been more limited. As I try to recall my earlier days, I think what I felt is better described as a frustration. I recall how it was frustration that led me to seek changes to better my odds at finding what I sought. And I think frustration would more accurately describe what I sometimes feel today. At times I feel frustration when someone discounts this difference in ratios or availability of opportunities when the reality is clearly different. Also, this imbalance creates a demand that in turn creates a power. I have difficulty when I see someone display arrogance that stems from the numbers or use this power in a way that I perceive to be unfair or disrespectful. Lastly, it can be frustrating to see someone promising who entered the scene seeking a lifestyle relationship and then changed their profile to a professional status. I can see why one might go for that path, given it is known to occur and there are likely men and women (other pros who are recruiting) who are persuading them to do something that is a reasonably attractive scenario. But it sucks for those who already have a limited pool for lifestyle partners. Rarely do I think gosh I wish it was the other way around. The feeling is more like, gosh I wish it were different, or gosh I wish I were born a couple of generations or more later. Cheers, Sea

Lady Pact ... Indeed, Women have the advantage in EVERY social situation ... kink and Non-kink. And as a man I think I can say .... Men expect this imbalance in every aspect of life. Vanilla or kink. Jealousy .. no ... Frustration .. yes !!! And yes, it is easy ... to become frustrated! [:)]

[:)] Welcome to the real world, if women have such an advantage everywhere, how come that the majority of women earns less money than men, when in fact more women than men pursue higher education? As for advantage in social situations, if you are the odd man out at a dinner party, it's not a problem, if you're the odd woman out, you get funny looks because something must be wrong with you, you're on your own... A woman enjoying casual sex, she'll be termed a slut, her morals are questioned, a guy is such a stud... Unmarried man of a certain age is a confirmed bachelor, a woman is a spinster, the guy just never married, the woman couldn't really get a guy, something wrong with her... Yes, as a woman you might have easier access to parties, of course, but that is because there is a shortage of women there, that is not because you are a woman and to do the woman something good, it's because the MEN like playing with women... When I lived in Germany, there were BDSM clubs, some of them amazing, a few thousand square feet, several dance areas, several levels, tons of play rooms, strict dress code and you had to be a member and pay an entrance fee. Not a problem to become a member (had to be this way due to legal issues), the organizers knew how important it was to have women there so a couple paid less entrance than a single male (only a 5er so nothing dramatic, but they knew if too many guys would be there, the women would get pestered and possibly not come back) and single women and couples paid roughly the same, you had a line outside of guys trying to grab a single woman to pay less entrance, some actually saying "I just go with you, won't cost you more so I don't have to pay entrance" - sensible approach but you aren't really presenting yourself in the best light if you see a woman as a means to not pay an entrance fee. Some guys didn't grasp that... Now in the club you could watch, the numbers weren't completely even but not too slanted (organizers also always made sure of that, claimed rather less people than a ratio of women/men of 1:3 or more), but you could see women who weren't all that pretty or young enough being rejected by guys when they thought they had a chance to play with somebody prettier. Age doesn't seem to matter that much for men, I hardly ever saw a guy who was not young anymore but polite and well groomed (meaning clean) being rejected in a way some male dominants thought they had the right to reject women they didn't fancy. On the surface, it does look like women have the advantage, if you are a woman and you look around, you notice that it's not always as you think....

I am also skeptical about the amount but I think the question about what one might do for money becomes, like most other things in life, a matter of shades of gray. It depends on what the thing is and what the amount is. I once saw a bukkake film that was being shown at a fetish event. I imagine lots of things could be done with some artistic moulding of lumps of chocolate, for instance. Who was it who started this disgusting subject, anyway? Oh . . . I see it was myself.
