99 Year Old Dommes?

Status: offline 		I have a question. I have noticed a trend in the past year or two that Dommes will put thier age as 99. I assume this is to attempt to cut down on the spam you get but this is only a guess on my part. And I could see how it would work. Or is there some unwritten internet code that I do not know about?

So the question is why do you use an age of 99? Please tell us. Enquiring minds want to know.

Status: offline 		Subs do it too. In a vain attempt to cut down on unwanted emails. As to why that number? It's the top one available.The range is 18 - 99. If you pick 18, you'll get hundreds of emails on the first day. By picking the oldest possible age, we hope to get none.

Status: offline 		I don't think running is the correct verb to use with people in a nursing home. However most of them do always have a cane at hand!

Interesting theory but I do not buy it. There are multiple, easier ways to say you are not looking. One is to simply state it in your profile. Secondly you also have the option to state "You are ACTIVELY seeking:" and if you are not seeking uncheck the box. So using 99 would be a really round about cryptic way to say you are not looking.

yeah, but the one I did my uni placement in had still a few who were physically quite mobile...AND they had internet access

Not a way to say that you aren't looking, but a refusal to state your age *because* you aren't looking and your age is your own business.

I'm thinking of becoming 99 again.
