Hi there. My slave is currently under doctor's orders to rest and stay in bed as much as possible for the next few weeks. She can't perform many (if any) of her normal duties - housework etc. She is also not allowed any vaginal penetration and only gentle anal penetration. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for training and tasks I can do with her over the next few weeks which will keep her mind appropriately focussed and also alleviate the inevitable boredom and frustration of being unable to perform her normal tasks and duties? crossword puzzles. requires focus. maybe not 'appropriate', if I am reading what youre saying correctly, but at this point, if she is on Dr. ordered bedrest, it isnt about YOU, it's about her. edited to remove a wayward letter. edited again to ADD a letter.. sheesh.. sleepy typing bad idea./...

Hello there, and welcome to the forums. You know... and this may sound a little "out there" or even a bit snarky (but not intenitonally so)... my immediate reaction to your question was this... If your slave is bedridden for a few weeks, my suggestion would be to - 1) Do all the housework, dilligently and to the standard you require of her 2) Bring her meals, prepared to the standard you require of her 3) Provide her with the level of kink she wants, not the level of kink you want 4) Give her treats to help keep her spirits up 5) Entertain her 6) Fetch books and magazines 7) Focus on doing the things that will get her well again as quickly as possible Now... if I heard that a Dom had done that for his bedridden sub, I'd totally take my fucking hat off to him.....

She could ... read some books do research from a lap top on something that makes her happy write an academic paper / book review publication prepare a bucket list design some new clothes write letters of gratitude for a dozen people who have been kind to her put together a party plan for when she's well again compare and contrast two different version of the same movie that tells a story she loves learn a new language online type up her favorite recipes create spreadsheets for household chores / expenses memorize a poem and give a dramatic reading audiotape a book for you that you can listen to in the car create a slide show out of photos you've taken and have on your computer (windows movie maker) volunteer to make phone calls for donations to the local animal shelter practice sketching. Sorry, that's all I could come up with off the top of my head. Oh yeah, and she could focus on getting wellllll....

I don't know, really there's still a lot of things you can do. Especially making her beg for attention, or giving you a massage. You can forbid her to move, or to speak, or to look at you, you can use cuffs, too. You can still spank her! Pull her hair, play with her body, make her dress in some new outfit, etc. I'm assuming she can still kiss your feet? Also collars, wrap her in leather... or in plastic... explore her mind... Seriously, there's a bunch of things to do. Stop worrying and use it to your advantage. Ehem. Why don't you flirt with her? ^^

You could respect the fact that shes on doctor ordered bedrest, put the Ds asside for that time and care for her as if shes a human being not just a serving tool.... Ya know like people try to do...when people they love and care for are sick.... You could get her books, and or read to her make her soup... ya know be in control of the situation by not causing her harm.

it's not totally fair to pounce on him for this question -- CherryNeko is right; people who are bedridden sometimes crave things that make them feel normal. Being sick when you're a service-oriented person is a nightmare. hahaha my late M took care of me after a car accident and a really horrible illness, and i felt bad that i couldn't do anything for him -- even though he never pressured me about anything, the negative feelings came from me. he might be asking on her behalf because she WANTS to find a way to express her feelings for him, while still adhering to doctor's rules. maybe she's stuck in bed and can't reach the computer herself. =p not everyone has a laptop you know.

I get that Lilly.. but.. what if the girl is on bedrest for a high risk pregnancy, for instance? Would "wrapping her in leather (or) plastic" be ok? Spanking? Playing with her body (depending on the type of play)? Without knowing WHY the girl is on bedrest, I think it is better to urge caution than to suggest things that could potentially be harmful. Thus my suggestion of finding things to occupy her mind (liek crossword puzzles).

Umm folks, he asked for suggestions, you all are assuming so back off on the OMGs and just allow people to GIVE SUGGESTIONS. Christ, bitch about other people's suggestions when you don't KNOW what is going on is well silly. YOU don't know what is going on with her either and MAYBE CherryNeko's suggestions WOULD be just as helpful as everyone elses and the OP hasn't thought of them or considered same. I am sure the OP is capable of determining what suggestions he can us and discarding the rest, so how about leaving the OP to decide what suggestions are useful and what are not. So instead of trying to decide FOR the OP what is useful and what is not, why not just let people suggest stuff to him and as an adult and owner, he can pick and choose what he feels is useful. Yeah amazing concept i know. But who are anonymous nicknames on a message board to determine what suggestions are wrong when the same nicknames have no clue what the OP's slave is capable of doing. I mean does everything on this site have to come down to bitching at someone for doing what the OP has asked -- FOR SUGGESTIONS! angel

Well, the OP decided not to post the reasons for her bedrest. I assumed that he wanted a list of ideas, of which he could pick those that suited his slave's abilities. Not time-effective for the suggestors, but so be it. Assuming physical disabilities is speculation, although the fact that vaginal is out of the question makes me think it might be pregnancy as well, now that I think of it. His profile makes no mention of it.

So she may have somethings she might remember she wants to do that she just doesn't have time for. There are things she of course can still do, you will just have to bring them to her -- i.e., she can still fold laundry, she can still make the menus and then grocery list etc. If she normally does the budget or bills she can still do that stuff also. Another big thing is communication, its hard being bedridden because you feel isolated, so make sure you are communicating with her throughout the day even if its little stuff or short communications. Have her friends do this also, and come visit. One other thing is moving. You may be able to ask her doctor what she can do to remain mobile without getting up. They may have exercises for her to do while not being able to get up. Training concepts -- it depends what you mean and where you are in your training with her. What do you normally do when you "train" her? angel

If she is on bed rest, she can read, watch tv, do puzzles or play video games. Now she will probably become board anyway, but she has to stay in bed and I am assuming she is an adult, so she will get over it. Like Greedy said...this is about getting her better, it's not about you. Perhaps this would be a good time for you to do a little training of your own. You know, things like laundry, cleaning. All the things that she usually does but can't do right now.

Umm no. the OP did not say she was SICK. The OP said that the doc recommended bedrest as much as possible and no vaginal sex and gentle anal. I am also thinking she may be pregnant, but that doesn't mean she is an invalid, and if the doc is saying no vaginal sex and gentle anal, it sounds like they are talking to the doc about what she can and can't do. Maybe she doesn't need to be "taken care of" as if she is sick, but instead maybe she needs things as normal as possible, which could very well involve some play of some kind. I had a friend on bedrest for pregnancy for 3 months once, and she did not want to be treated like an invalid or a sick person but wanted fun and movement because it was TIRING for her to be in bed all day. She and he were aware of what they should and should not do, but one thing we COULD not do with her was treat her like an invalid or like she was sick. She was scary in her demands and i was very afraid lol. angel
