The Dude sincerely regrets any ill will or inconvenience his ill-conceived post might have generated. The fact is, plain and simple, the other sub guys and those who rose to their defence came off looking, for the most part, quite brilliant.
I am grateful that during the course of the thread we were able to share a few laughs. I even had occasion to email a few dudes and get a few things straightened out via backchannel, but I also wanted to say publicly "My fault, guys. I can't promise to never step in it again but I can promise that if I do I will eventually see the error of my ways and do what is possible to set right what went wrong."
Again, I look forward to getting to know all of you much better. So many of you have so much to offer. <3
