Dont confuse him with scientific facts and the laws of physics. The fact that fusion is done using deuterium and tritium to make Helium is a fundamental fact that is lost on the op.

Status: offline 		Supposing that cold fusion does occur, it is hard to guess at what happens. I would guess that it is not a D D interaction. However such an interaction might knock off a neutron and that neutron in turn might hit the nucleus of a silver or palladium atom and knock some nuclei loose, resulting in tritium. It is pure speculation, though, and likely wrong.

Any BASIC physics book shows the formula for fusion. H + H =====> He .

Sorry chia, your knowledge of
Chemistry and physics is abysmal.

Deuterium and Tritium are both types of Hydrogen.
If you combine 2 Deuterium Nuclei, (One proton and One Neutron each for a total of 2P and 2N) you produce ONE Helium (2 Protons and 2 Neutrons) and NO Tritium because there is nothing left over.



Go back to 9th grade. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
