Not wrong, but I do think it makes a difference to point out when people are incorrect or have made a logical oversight. It might be naive of me. I don't expect a magical "eureka" moment, but I think that the best way to defeat rhetoric is with facts. Especially when trying to fight a trend of "the left/right is wrong and stupid" back and forth.

Lets forget what side of the political spectrum these people are on they are fanatical and the real problem in America. Not because they are self-proclaimed leftists but because they are blinded by their fanaticism and incapable of compromise that is required for real progress.

I would agree, but I've seen too much of it going the other way - with the tea party and the "rightists" or whatever.

I would ask all leftists to set an example with this. Don't ignore these people, don't gloss over their political affiliation. Accept that they probably vote the way you do, they probably have a lot of the same political ideals that you do, and their advocating violence doesn't make the left "bad" any more than the tea party makes the right "bad."

Just say - Yes. These people are Leftists. I'm a Leftist too, and their behavior disgusts me.

Such a shining opportunity to rise and be the better man shouldn't get lost in the muck.

What can I say, that's the left! Sad and depressing.
How could people hold views like that and (not) be depressed? Just (a little) mental illness in that crowd wouldn't you say? They must have left their "happy places" for the protest.
And would their belief in "global warming" be closer to 20% or 80% of the crowd I wonder? Just speculating.

Funny how many leftists like to pretend that Tea Party activists are like the leftists portrayed in popeyes OP video but they can never present any specific evidence backing their tired propaganda. In other words leftist hate speech and even violence is well documented, there is a plethora of evidence proving how widespread and commonplace it is, while right wing violence and hate speech is comparatively very rare and reliable documentation of it is even more rare.

"Poor cow" is a figure of speech, the shooter doesn't appear to have leaned very far to the left, and if you missed all of the shouting over the fact that Arizona was one of the states caribou Barbie had marked out with a gunsight as an anti teabagger blackspot, presumably you were hiding in a cellar for three weeks.
