LnT - i think you're reading too far into what i was saying. =p what i was saying was simply about illuminating SOME negative traits of SOME women to contrast with this "all women on a pedestal" mentality. obviously there are men who've poisoned people, too. obviously there are men who are passive aggressive. obviously there are men who've never committed a crime or act of violence, and there are women who have. there are women who shoot, stab, strangle, just like there are women who poison and drown their children. obviously things are situational, but that doesn't really factor into the point i was trying to make. as far as the issue of African Americans go, that nonconsensual slavery imbalance (as specific slavery -- not getting into anything else here) no longer exists. so there is no need for passive-aggression on part of AAs as a segment of the population. =p but for women, those power imbalances or conditioning experiences still exist on a pretty broad scale, which is why criminal psychology still identifies it as a method often used by female murderers. Otter -- you're hilarious and wonderful. =p haha
