I would not have gotten angry if Sanity had simply claimed the Democratic Party had lost its way, many liberals would agree. As someone forced to call them self a moderate because of their own sane political views, topics like this illustrate perfectly the mindset that has gotten America into the hole it's in now. You can point blame all you want, but that won't change the fact that no one cares except for extremists. The rest of us are wading through the mess and trying to piece the shit both sides squandered back together. So uh, yeah. Thanks for that. Really, thanks. [:'(]

[:'(] It's actually the moderates in this country who are to blame for most of this mess. You change tack far too frequently. For instance if moderates had stuck with the neo cons in the 90's instead of switching to Clinton we would have already had the budget crisis we are now living through. Or if moderates had stuck with centrist Democrats like Clinton and Gore we would likely be well beyond the era of huge deficits. But instead the constant back and forthing isn't giving any political philosophy a chance to function long enough to really prove if it will work or not.

I follow candidates that appeal to me, rather than remain undecided; with the undecided/apathetic being these "moderates" you refer to. I'm sorry that you fellows feel the need to try and embarrass anyone who finds political extremists dangerous. I'm sure that as I retire from this thread, the hooting and giggling will continue. Myself, I'll be waiting for more people like myself to get over this agenda talk and either heal this country or pull it the rest of the way apart, as that's where this leftism and rightism is headed.
