Wants to take food anyway from poor children in the USA; Satan or GOP?

Started a War based on lies and misinformation; Satan or GOP?

Wants to give more power and money to the wealthy, while putting the burden of paying for it on to the backs of the poor;  Satan or GOP?

Wants to take away health care from the elderly while increasing money for free burials; Satan or GOP?

Wants to deny medicine based on differences in values and beliefs; Satan or GOP?

Gives away Billions in corporate welfare while taking food stamps away from people in need; Satan or GOP?

Wants to take away millions from helping poisoned children, while increasing military spending that is not needed (according to the military); Satan or GOP?

Wants to end support for public education and public health for poor families while increasing tax breaks for the wealthy; Satan or GOP?

Wants to end equal rights for people who do not marry the way they want them to; Satan or the GOP

Huh for the party that claims they live step in step with Jesus and his beliefs, they sure do not vote that way.   I wonder how all these so called religious groups can sit there quietly while the GOP looks worse than Satan in their voting and policies.

Much better to go with the democrats, who are alot better at hiding it.

Well isn't that special?

Jennislut -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/6/2011 11:01:07 AM)

What a dumb OP

Termyn8or -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/6/2011 11:28:13 AM)

"I'm new, be gentle "

Nope, not here lol. Actually this OP only has an SQ (stupidity quotient) of about 45. I've seen much higher (pun possibly intended).

This one isn't too bad at all, in compare. There are timeless archives, posts dating back years. Pages and pages within pages within veritable volumes of opinions from those sharp as a bowling ball, and exchanges between the abrasive and those with rough edges.

Naw, this one's about average.

True, but she's right...it is pretty dumb

FR

Actually the premise is not all that dumb. The presentation was a lacking, but the tales of armaggedon, if taken figuratively............

I've read Revelations a couple of times, although I don't retain it all because I do so selectively. How they seem to have described the beast holds in certain aspects. All powerful, as world government looms. It doesn't seem to be in name, but by complex treaties and agreements, international courts which claim worldwide jurisdiction, maybe it's not so far off.

Suffering is obvious. And not that I've really comtemplated suicide lately or anythng, it could be difficult for some. "Men shall seek death but not find it". There was a time you could just drive into a bridge abutment and end it all, but now with airbags and crumple zones, you are more likely to spend the rest of your corporeal life as a vegetable. Getting a gun is not as easy as it used to be. At one time you could stick a piece of metal in an electric socket and grab a faucet to cash in, but not they have ground fault interrupters, and on top of that alot of plumbing is plastic, so you don't even have a good ground. There is more but I can't recall it all. The paralells are there, in a metaphoric sense at least.

A beast rising from the sea - naval vessels with powerful ship to shore weapons. A beast from the sky - Air Force bombers. Famine - we're getting there if people don't stop overpopulating the planet, not to mention obscene opulence in the face of those who are starving.

The mistake in the OP was to name a certain political party. They all do the same thing, and they don't do it for free. International financiers gaining wealth as the good hard working people who created prosperity are tossed aside like those to be sifted.

What's more these conditions are creating a dog eat dog environment, to the point that you just about can't trust anyone.

The OP would've made alot more sense if not for the political reference.

Great OP. We should be calling these assholes out daily for fucking up not only the country by the world

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 8:36:24 AM)

DYB... please dont tell me you are buying into this. If this thread had been listed "God or Democrats" and all the OP had was filled with sunlight and rainbows, would you be so ready to agree then?

The OP just plain stupid.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 8:48:34 AM)

Which part is wrong?

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 8:56:42 AM)

With as much wheeling and dealing that happens behind the scenes, the number of special interest groups that line political pockets, the sheer numbers it takes to pass a bill into law, and the fact that Democrats dont always follow party lines.... many of these are GOP driven... but many are also Democrat supported.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:00:44 AM)

Well that didn't answer my question. Want to try again?

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:02:04 AM)

I did answer your question. If Democrats are supporting such measures... how can it be blamed totally on the GOP as the OP suggests?

DomYngBlk -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:05:11 AM)

Which dems do you know of that support any of that?

mnottertail -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:08:48 AM)

The satanists?

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:11:06 AM)

DOMA.... signed into law by Clinton.

House vote.

224 Republicans voted yes.

118 Democrats voted yes.

Senate vote

30 Democrats voted yes.

55 Republicans.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:13:39 AM)

DOMA is?

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:14:48 AM)

Defence of Marriage Act? You know, the one that states a marriage is between a man and a woman only?

DomYngBlk -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:22:12 AM)

And you know the reason why it was signed....why try to avoid the truth

Let me just say one thing about DOMA, since you -- the reason I signed DOMA was -- and I said when I signed it -- that I thought the question of whether gays should marry should be left up to states and to religious organizations, and if any church or other religious body wanted to recognize gay marriage, they ought to. We were attempting at the time, in a very reactionary Congress, to head off an attempt to send a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage to the states. And if you look at the 11 referenda much later -- in 2004, in the election -- which the Republicans put on the ballot to try to get the base vote for President Bush up, I think it's obvious that something had to be done to try to keep the Republican Congress from presenting that. The President doesn't even get to veto that. The Congress can refer constitutional amendments to the states.
I didn't like signing DOMA and I certainly didn't like the constraints that were put on benefits, and I've done everything I could -- and I am proud to say that the State Department was the first federal department to restore benefits to gay partners in the Obama administration, and I think we are going forward in the right direction now for federal employees.

tazzygirl -> RE: Here is a Test, is it Satan or the GOP (3/7/2011 9:26:43 AM)

No one is avoiding any truths. You asked which laws were supported, I gave you an example. IF what Clinton said was true, then why didnt ALL Democrats support those bills?
