Ms. Jennislut & I were having a conversation about cats, so we both decided that this topic is needed so all you people can chime in with your thoughts about cats. So do it. Talk about cats right now. I like cats that wear little ties and have little briefcases and go to their little workplace and have their little cubicles with their little cat pals. Those are my type of cats.

there's a "what is your cat doing" thread in polls & random stupidity. as for cats, i really like them. i like tabbies the most, and little black and white cats with extra toes. =p a friend has a big fat beige cat that has the cutest warbley meow; he likes to climb up on the couch and plop his big fat catself in my lap and touch noses with me. so friggen cute. another friend has a great sphinx cat. they're hairless and look like canopic jars. gorgeous, sculptural, triangular noggins.

do you suppose cats are related to ninjas? sneaking around at night, and throwing pointy things at your face? maine coons are also great cats. and calico -- a couple of years ago during a REALLY bad flood back home, someone's calico cat came to our place and meowed mysteriously from the top of one of the pecan trees for a whole day. finally at night, she came down and i gave her some tuna. a neighbor promised to find her owners, but i think she just kept her. =p haha she was a great cat.

I always liked the quote that dogs have owners but cats have staff. I miss my beloved cat Belle. She was the most stunning cat with vivid green eyes that looked right through you. We got along because she was high maintenance too. Oh, and she loved jewelry, like me. [;)]

i think that grey tabbies are the "cattiest" of all the cats. Orange tabbies are a close second.

Cats look so adorable while sleeping, don't you think? I mean, have you ever seen a little cat just sleep the day away? They look like they're getting so much rest and you just don't want to wake them up.

Cats do NOT have staff......they have peasants to rule over. My cats speak clear English at feeding time...."now, now, now" instead of the more traditional meow. Have you ever called a cat? Ever heard it's voicemail greeting? "I can't come to the phone right now as I have other important matters to attend to...like eating, sleeping or maybe even grooming. However, leave your message at the tone, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get back to you. MEOW"

i have a cat named cohen - yeah i know chinese girl/jewish cat. hes a grey tabby with a funny little "M" mark on his head. he likes to walk on my keyboard and sit on my books - i think cats do that because they resent being illiterate

While I love all animals, cats are the greatest.....everyone in my family has no less than 2, I am the leader at 4. All are rescues. All have their own little personalities. As we speak, Squeaks is coming over to try to take up all the space on my computer desk....and since she is a delicate Maine Coon, she can do it very easily. She is my little hugger mug...pick her up, and she wraps her feet around your neck and gives you kitteh kisses. [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/cathug2.gif[/image] KB is more dog than cat, having been raised with his. When we lost Shiloh, it broke his heart. He wandered around the house crying and looking for him everywhere. No one could sleep on his bed, he'd chase the other two kittehs in the house off of it. When I adpoted Boo and Smooch, who were garage sale kittehs, he became their "mom". KB's special talent is trying my patience......I have yet to win a battle of wills with him.....after trying for years, I've just decided that it's easier to cave and get up and feed him at 3 am. [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/toolminis/kattgapw.gif[/image] Boo and Smooch are my other sweeties. They are a bit more independent, and will come for living when they want it. In Boo's case, it's usually when I'm in the bathroom. Smooch will come in the bedroom at night and sleep near me. I love when they are all curled up in a kitteh pile asleep. The boys are all intertwined together, with the legs wrapped around each other. Squeaks will crawl under the covers and sleep with me. Warms my feet as well as my heart!
