NocturnalStalker -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 12:57:01 PM)

I always enjoy that glassy, "far away" look they get in their eyes when measuring a jump they are not sure they can make.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 12:58:11 PM)

i like the "hey i meant to do that" look they have when they totally fail at a jump, and then try to walk it off.

Phoenixpower -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 12:59:21 PM)

In regards to cats I agree with greedys view:

Cats are better companions than most men, IME. They dont expect me to change, they cuddle without complaint, they can be left alone for a weekend and not whine about it, theyre generally very low maintenance, and they never lie.

recently a string-along-guy commented a la then my life would continue to only be loved by pets and not by humans (as he realised I dont bother about his game all over again another time) following which I replied to him similar to how greedy did here...

also a while ago a colleague at my previous employer questioned who would want me anyway with having 5 cats, following which I just replied "as more I know about men, as more I love my cats." [8|]

There are many great quotes in regards to cats and at least they never fail to lift up my spirit during not so great times [:)]

I also enjoy how every cat suffers from some form of dementia.  You'll be petting them and they'll enjoy it, then all of a sudden lash out and try to bite your hand.

Arpig -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 1:01:26 PM)

I always want to know what they see when they stare so intently at nothing.

Oh hell, I thought this was about four legged cats.

Phoenixpower -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 1:02:23 PM)

I never named that as dementia, more like their independence to let us know when they have enough and not being shy to let us know about it [:)]

I tend to think that they are looking for the source of a sound I didn't hear.

domiguy -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 1:07:46 PM)

I believe that most Cm'ers enjoy the company of cats because they need to make sure that they receive their full quotient of daily rejection.

Cats are vile creatures.

domiguy -> RE: Let's Talk About Cats. (3/15/2011 1:10:22 PM)

they have the brain the size of a peanut. I enjoy how people attempt to give then some sort of mystical property or depth.

What are they looking at? Who really fucking cares.

I wonder what that bird is thinking?

Usually the "other" cats not only bite but also suck your soul and ability to be optimistic.

I don't know if you give them wet food often but you see, I'm addicted to salmon, and when I feed them I am so tempted to just take a small bite myself.  I know it would give me all sorts of disease (like the leprosy) but dammit...I want my fish.

Now, that one is easy. Just grill them some salmon steak, as is their due anyway, than you can have some scraps without the yuck factor.

The bird is thinking how to fuck up your sleep with it's annoying chirping.

I've had one date since I got my foster cat in December. Looks like he's going to be with me til I move at the end of May :)
