Cats are better companions than most men, IME. They dont expect me to change, they cuddle without complaint, they can be left alone for a weekend and not whine about it, theyre generally very low maintenance, and they never lie.

When it's feeding time here, you should hear all the noise!  lips smacking, little delicate slurping sounds.....all the nommin' going on.

My mom has two siblings from the Humane Society...they are a hoot!  Tabby is constantly trying to teach his little furry mice how to swim in the water bowl....so far, no success.....just a lot of little wet blobs of fur, and pretty colored water!  Of course, it's my mom's job to "rescue" the mice and dry them off.  His sister Lacey loves to drink out of the kitchen faucet.

Jenni, those are beautyfull kittehs!  I wish mine would eat out of bowls.....I feed them on plates and they make SUCH a mess.....but if I feel them in bowls, 2 of the 4 will pick up food with ther tootsies, drop it on the floor and then eat it.  It's the whole "can't have the whiskers touch the sides of the bowl" thing.

I don't know if you give them wet food often but you see, I'm addicted to salmon, and when I feed them I am so tempted to just take a small bite myself.  I know it would give me all sorts of disease (like the leprosy) but dammit...I want my fish.

Mine doesnt like fish... she wants the chocolate... I cant have any sort of chocolate cake in the house or else im assaulted for it.
