No, it's that some of us realize that we are responsible for our own decisions. If I go out and consent (the word that is actually used by the OP) to some dumb thing, I can't exactly blame the other person when I agreed to do the dumb thing in the first place. Every adult (meaning person 18 years of age or older) knows the potential risks of unprotected sex. Granted, it would be nice if everyone with a STD told people before engaging in sexual acts, but that's not reality, is it?

Had the 'friend' described in the original been thinking with her head rather than her genitalia, the story would have never made this board. She wasn't a victim. She was a volunteer.

NS, I don't hate women.....not sure why you think that way. I just have a problem wiht folks who fail to utilize the brains they were given to protect themselves....male or female.
