Of course I agree with you... I was trying to point out how we are painting ourselves into a corner...again...The time will come soon where we will be committed to pick a side in the civil war and support them with both arms and advisor's. This will mandate the removal of Gaddafi but only after thousands of deaths.

If we want to save lives... I mean really save lives and not political hay...THEN the best way is to take him out quickly despite the political fall out.

If we don't want to do that then lets stop this foolishness.

There was just dome retired Lt General on CNN.  His comments on the topic were much in line.  It's not just as simple as dropping a few crates of weapons and walking off.

Now you need to create supply lines and there has to be someone on the ground to provide instruction.

Apparantly you missed their (the U.S. Congress') "The Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002", "The Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists [in Afghanistan]" (2001) and "The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution" (1964). As for North Korea, then POTUS Harry Truman (D) did not seek, much less obtain, Congressional approval prior to using military force against North Korea.

In case you missed the part where I identified the party of the last POTUS to use military force without seeking, much less obtaining, Congressional approva Harry Truman was a DEMOCRAT.

You may try again, EVERY fucking president since Harry Truman has used force without congressional approval at that time right up to Obama.  It all came after. Rubber stamped.

LBJ got a little fucking carried away with it, which is why there is a war powers resolution codified, saying fundamentally, The Constitution says only we can make war, but since you guys are doing it anyway, heres the fuckin' deal..............

Just once I hope we stay the hell out of that side...Isn't it about time for the Legion to step up? If we go in it will backfire for sure... Just watch the Arab League do an about face..I say it is about time to target the asshole and his sons himself and save a lot of lives...or get the hell out.

They already have. As soon as the no-fly zone was initiated and France started bombing anti-air weaponry, the AL said, "wait that's not what we expected".

how many american soldiers and how many innocents dead by american military?

we can print money (hey, I am making the best of a bad situation).

900 mill in nine days?  why is it more expensive than Iraq day to day?
