Since only about 2,000 women are affected (BBC via NPR) I think it's unnecessarily antagonistic.

I think it will be seen as an attack on Islam. Are they next going to legislate that Sikh men can't wear their turbans?

there is a difference between a turban and a burqa, turban does not cover the face.... besides women wearing this scare the shit out of the kids on the street..

if I wear a ski mask and walk in a bank, what do You think will happen?

I urge you to run a few tests here...try some different banks in your area and please do get back to us with the results

Motorcyclists are required to remove their crash helmets before entering buildings and certainly banks. What is the difference?

I can walk in a bank with my helmet on, just not a bandana covering my face..

The point I was making is religious wear is religious wear. Why shouldn't France outlaw catholic/orthodox robes, or the Pope hat?

You didn't type that with a straight face, did you?

Does this mean you see menace in a face veil?

ETA: The bank employees might hit the silent panic alarm depending on your demeanor before requiring you to take it off.

Different in the UK then. Helmets off not just in banks but other establishments too.

It's a mute point.  Any female who was that observant wouldn't be going into the bank.  A male family member would be doing the banking.

Not here (Canada) I take it off regardless (hates wearing a helmet) but its the law.

Yes I'm a smartass...for instance I am sitting here now trying to figure out how to get you a waiver for that inconvenient helmet law.Perhaps once we prove that your head is merely an empty shell the authorities will acquiesce

Perhaps the scream was due to the girls sense of your black heart.I have heard that some females have this whole "intuition" thing going on?
Just sayin ,it is another possibility

There are Christians who live here where the male head of house has the same control.

Is that sad as well?

Who is hiding,I am more than upfront in regards to the disdain I hold you in.What would you suggest I do,given the constraints of this medium.....my profile is up,my picture is on it....would you like my SS number, birthdate and postal address too?
Were I to furnish these....do you promise to visit?
