I agree.  It will be ugly.  I would not want the job.

The job itself, not so bad.  GETTING the job is the ugly part.

I think he runs to as to try to influence the debate.  Which is a good thing.

This will be interesting, if the Republicans don't conspire to supress him again.

Yup.They treated him so badly that he simultaneously ran a counter convention near the national GOP convention.

I don't want any president who is against single-payer health care.

Ever wonder why you keep asking the same questions that have been answered for you numerous times?

And they are competing for the chance to be labeled as a vicious, evil, racist who thinks it would be best if old people died sooner, so the rich can sell their bodies as food for the poor.

No wonder Haley Barbour decided to skip it.

Why though...

Because the voters were overwhelmingly against it.

No. Because they didn't have the votes.

The Democrats were not united on that front.

You know Sanity, I don't know whether you just isolate yourself in the FOX/Drudge/Newsbusters bubble and never view anything else or whether you are a deliberate liar who keeps trying to revise history.

Another Poll Shows Majority Support for Single-PayerHealthcare
Feb 5, 2009 ... A New York Times/CBS News poll released last week shows, yet again, that the majority of Americans support national health insurance.

A New York Times/CBS News poll released last week shows, yet again, that the majority of Americans support national health insurance.

The poll, which compares answers to the same questions from 30 years ago, finds that, “59% [of Americans] say the government should provide national health insurance, including 49% who say such insurance should cover all medical problems.”

gotta call a spade a spade...

Yes, those poor Republicans, it breaks my heart.

Constantly being attacked by those vicious Democrats.

I feel your pain Richie.

I think that qualifies as a confession, for the slow and obtuse.

defiantbadgirl -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/25/2011 9:53:40 PM)

Republicans leaders want death panels. Otherwise they wouldn't be trying to end medicare and put spending caps on medicaid.

And lo, behold how the talking point becomes the twuth!

Really? I see cuts like that forcing the costs of care back onto the individuals and their families. Now there are a bunch of ways to describe a family discussion of unplugging granny, but "death panel," just doesn't seem to capture that scene.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/25/2011 10:47:24 PM)

You guys own the death panel crap and the misleading fact twisting bull-shitting shout-over-kill-the-debate demagoguery crap.

[:D]

Obama was a good faith player going up against some of the most greedy mother fuckers in the world and their minions, like rich.

NeedToUseYou -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/25/2011 10:54:20 PM)

Hopefully, He's in.

Prediction:Ron Paul will do much better this time, Romney will be the nominee, though the point here is to spread the message, and to set up Rand ultimately.

Romney, having no values at all, will lose automatically to Obama, seeing he's no better than Obama in terms of the economy, and worse in the case of war.

Obama continues to screw up for 4 more years.

Ron Paul's other son (forget his name, not Rand), runs and is elected. Now, you have 3 Paul's at the National Level. Spreading the Paul name, and acclimatizing people to the idea.

Ron Paul Retires...

Rand Paul, who is much better dealing with the neocons at fox, and the liberals at MSNBC, runs in 2016, and wins the primary and presidency.

By then Obama will have driven this country so far into the ground, people will be over this socialist fad.

Cut,Cut, Cut.... Of course Social Security, and Medicare, etc... will have to be wound down over about 30 years, but the military budget is slashed first year.... Federal Employees forced to get real jobs, etc. etc...

I get to respect a president for the first time in my life, and not feel ill when hearing him speak.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/25/2011 11:02:50 PM)

Obama has turned around the worst economic disaster since the great depression.

That`s called a success.

McPalin would have let GM fail, sending us into the 2nd great depression.

That`s called failure..

Rand?

He`ll never be a national leader.Kooks don`t do well nationally.

Needtouseyou, one thing I think this country really needs is "change" and we're just not getting it with Oblunder.
Look at HIS healthcare plan, it's a disaster!
Two weeks ago they said that there were 900 something orgs that were "exempt" from it!
