Last one who had it was JFK.

JFK was dead long before I came along. The first President I remember was Nixon... not fondly.

Medicaid fraud shouldn't be prosecuted until the federal poverty guidelines are changed because if they go after the companies, they'll go after the families too. Couples don't deserve to be prosecuted for medicaid fraud because of marriage or in some states even co-habitation. I seriously doubt rich people are going to move to countries where speaking their minds can get them locked up and suicide bombings are common. Why didn't they leave the country years ago when they were taxed at much higher rates?

Here is the site to report fraud and amazingly enough, it doesn't even address those people you are talking about. So tell me, what's the problem with this again?

ok how about this, YOUR kids can pay for school and pay 100% of taxes and 100% for care for all the criminals spending life in prison......Personally I could never believe in NOT sending my kid or future kid to a "tax dollar supported" school. I went private and so did my daughterand for MY tax dollars.... I would rather feed our kids and provide medical for them, then pay for some piece of filth sitting in jail for life!!!!!!! the 30/30/30 plan sounds best...... 30 days for trial.... 30 days for appeal then a 30 cent bullet to the fucking head, administered by someone like me who will get a great nights sleep that night.....

You forgot the gators!

Ron Paul is too damn old, just like McCain the last time around.

We need a trillion in cuts yesterday for the year.

Now, the real question...what will you cut?

See, it's not that easy. The usual stuff people ramble off comes nowhere near $1 trillion, and ignores the consequences.

50% reduction in military/defense. That's about 500 billion.

End all subsidies.

Jack the Social Security Age to 70.

Restrict procedures/drugs cost caps on medicare coverage, as in medicare will mostly pay for standard procedures and generic/older drugs unless the drug company wishes to price it similiarly.

That's close to a trillion, I'm sure.

Though could go further without a problem. As in we really should start moving to more private schooling, and oversite of the education system should be wholly the domain of the States and localities. Ban all collective bargaining for all government employees like Obama supports at the federal level, and has been since before he got there. Remove all tenure for teachers. That's a good start for education.

Here's a good video to make you froth at the current state of public education. http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_Cartel/70138620

Really, there are a number of ways to reduce Federal and State budgets, but the only prerequisite at the federal level is a drastic reduction in "defense or more correctly OFFENSE" spending". Personally I'm compromising on the "Offense" spending as I'd personally like it slashed by 2/3rds.

I have no sympathy. She knew from the beginning she was lying. Because of her lies how many other women didnt get the help they needed? How many of these types of people, those who lie to get what they want, affect the others who have to get divorced?

One affects the other.

provfivetine -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 7:29:16 PM)

Ron Paul could beat Obama in the general election, but he won't get through the primaries. No other candidate can beat Obama; though I would much rather have Obama be re-elected than to have any Republican (other than Ron Paul) get in. Who ever wins the 2012 election, Democrat or Republican, will have to deal with a pending currency crisis. In fact, there could be a serious situation before 2012 even comes. The US dollar index is nearing all-time lows, and I don't see any indications of a dollar rally.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 8:15:07 PM)

The only republican with any integrity.No wonder the neo-con hate him.

TheHeretic -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 8:18:01 PM)

The person most likely to beat candidate Obama is President Obama. Hence the need for the politics of personal destruction to be leveled at any and all who might oppose him. Gotta change the subject in a hurry.

It's going to be amusing to throw his hopey-changey bullshit right back in the faces of his fan club and hacks.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 8:28:12 PM)

Again you`re jumping the gun with the cry-baby act.Paul will get his savaging from the same folks who savaged him the last time.........you neo-cons.

Still sore about mcgramps losing?.......he-he

Hillwilliam -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 8:35:55 PM)

I'll agree with Heretic to a point. The next election is Obama's to lose, unfortunately. I don't think he's done that good a job but I REALLY don't see any of the present R people that are worth a vote.

If Obama can keep things from going totally south, he will win with no trouble.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 8:41:53 PM)

His to lose yes but that`s not what dick meant.[:D]

President Obama will be pretty hard to beat.Plus he has an extra 10% or so just for being an incumbent.

It takes a complete package of taxing and cutting to get this mess under control. Something I have YET hear any politician state.

Our monetary-economic paradigm is based on an infinite-growth model. It's simply not sustainable. What you've seen in the recent past are cracks in the foundation, and the elites scrambling to do a temporary patch job before it all collapsed.

What can we expect politicians to publicly state, besides more lies? They sure the hell can't tell the truth. If they did, there would be mass chaos in the streets. But it's a safe bet that they will do everything possible to retain their power and control, regardless of what the consequences are for the masses.

But don't let me interfere with you folks playing in the partisian sandbox, and focusing on symptoms of larger problems. I'm sure you guys will figure something out that the majority of you will agree upon and convince the elite to implement for your benefit... [8|]

Only in terms of the cost to the country of that, O59.

Owner59 -> RE: RON PAUL: HE'S IN! (4/26/2011 9:51:59 PM)

Fixing your neo-con fuck-ups and paying the "cost" of them is one of the President`s successes.

Must all you losers speak in cryptics?

You're right about something, O59, but the world is full of hard jobs, that still need to be done.

Incumbency isn't an advantage when the people are pissed at their government.
