Status: offline 		We live in an overly hygienic culture, and many people become oversensitive - some people can't stand any hint of human body odor, which is good news for the purveyors of hygiene products.

I remember visiting my grandmothers and my uncles ranch when I was a kid, and being immediately struck by the smell of cow manure - it pervades everything, it's there while you eat, while you sleep, all the time - you get used to it after a few days - personally, I have to say I prefer it over the smell of car exhaust, which is what you get used to in the city.

I personally have never found ordinary human odor the least offensive - sure, you drop a bomb in the toilet, I'm going to tell you to light a match, but I'm with La Tigresse, heavy perfume nauseates me, and I really hate the taste of lipstick, makeup, all that crap - it's au naturale for me, the scent of a nice, tangy, musky cunt gets my motor running.

Anal is an interesting odor, distinctive, not entirely unpleasant, but I know women who like anal sex but won't do it because they don't like that plasma smell.

I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor’s office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 a.m. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45 a.m. The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn’t have any time to spare.

As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn’t going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that area to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment.

I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I’m sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the doctor said, “My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven’t we?” I didn’t respond.

After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal.  Some shopping, cleaning, and cooking. After school when my 6-year-old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, “Mommy, where’s my washcloth?”

I told her to get another one from the cupboard.

She replied, “No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it.”

Never going back to that doctor…Ever.

Status: offline 		I am obsessed with hygiene, to the point where not only will I shower before anything goes on, but will often jump up and clean during activities. Men have said, why are you running out to clean up, you are fine, but I am obsessed with being fresh as a daisy.

That, and being totally shaved has ensured that I have never once heard a negative thing about smell; on the contrary, I have been praised for the smell/taste.

However, I do agree that sometimes, smells are just simply incompatible from a chemistry point of view. I once dated a really good looking guy who I know was clean. But even after a shower his essential smell clashed with me and I could not deal with him. He was so upset and could not understand how important pheromones can be.

If we were going to be engaging in pussy eating, I'd take a bath, wash well, I have no std's no yeast infections no nothing and nothing is wrong with me and my partner still finds my scent to be to musky for him. Even strait from a bath.


Same with another play partner of mine, but me her pussy scent. She just naturally smelled stronger than I wanted to smell.

It's a bit insulting to say pussy scent someone don't like comes down to bathing issues.

What if they are STD free, washed really well, are just from the shower and their junk still smells awful? I've had a few partners like that, you're like great, all clean lets get to business, get down there and it's an overall rank smell similar to when they piss and put it back in their pants, and then sweat.

I was just remarking on the fact that sperm are alive, and that when they die, there is an odor, just like when everything else dies. If B and I have been more active than usual, this can happen. Its a slight crawfish odor 48ish hours later. If it happens to me, I just douche. I've never had a problem with douching and my gyno said she even douches at times. I'm fortunate to have a cast iron system, I guess.

Status: offline 		Semen, when it breaks down, breaks down into a number of other substances, including ammonia, which can have a pretty strong odor, and hard to get rid of - not sure how to neutralize the smell of ammonia, but there is probably something.

I'm not sure why you are insulted since I never actually said that pussy scent someone doesn't like comes down to bathing issues- the part of my quote that you clipped did not say that. It said that a bad smell in the vaginal area could be kept to a minimum by washing. I also said farther down in the same post in a part that you clipped out, that there would always be a normal odor. Whenever I post I try to take into account that every situation might not be what is being described, isn't it taking things a little too far to say that every poster would have to not only say YMMV or some kind of qualifier but also describe every single situation where there might be a variance? The forums would be full of a lot of precautionary BS and become pretty boring I think. Maybe a better solution is not to be so easily insulted by things that others don't actually say.

Status: offline 		    When we speak of "chemistry" between people - you can take it literally.   We are animals , with various odors and funk that a normal healthy body produces all the time - internally and externally.    Some people just naturally produce much stronger odors than others.   I've known a few people who had horrendous body odor ,  moments after a shower - yikes !
  And we've all known folks with super smelly feet , or underarms.  Or those who sweat a ton - and anyone near them will know it !   Then there's others who hardly produce any odor at all.   And then there's the odors "down there".   Some may turn you on ,  and others make you want to keep your distance - or run !

   That's where the "chemistry" comes in.  It can be someone's natural body odor ,  or medications,  diets  (vegetarians tend to smell/taste better !) ,  or the presence of an infection - or not,  will effect how someone smells.

  I was once with a Dom who loved to wait till I returned from running - all sweaty  (though I don't sweat or smell all that much).  He loved sticking his nose everywhere , and savoring me .  It was kinda hot actually !

    And for sure it can come from anyone of any age or gender.  In any event ,  it's rare that soap and water won't cure it !

Shaving cream with artificial fragrance irritates my vulva; now I use the Whole Foods Everyday Shea shampoo for shaving cream as it is cheaper than unscented shaving cream. I park the big pump bottle in the corner of the shower and use it for bodywash as well. I love multi purpose personal care products.
