Now the birthers and their friends all look, even MORE like putzes and the President is still calmly and coolly going about doing his job.

Oh, I understand it.  I understand that by not recognizing a certificate of live birth (which is valid and which is what Hawaii issues, as the long form birth certificate is filed as the original in Hawaii), made people (birther's) think they could throw a rock into the pond and make a bunch of ripples, causing doubt and holding us back from bigger issues.  All these diversions may or may not have held us back as it seems our President is able to multi-task and take advantage of accusations against him to fall to his good.  He certainly didn't ask someone to denounce him as an American!  So...as much as it may not sit right with you, all the "Hey, show us your long form birth certificate or you aren't American'', got the issue no where.

Why show it at the beginning of his office term? I keep saying the man is smart. His timing was damn near perfect. Ive never claimed that Obama wasnt born here, but I am asking what motivation the administration had to delay the release of the birth certificate. If you can calm down a little bit and read what I am actually writing rather than blindly flail about like this perhaps we can have a reasonable discussion...

Sanity, I'm beginning to wonder if you know what an insult is.  Granted, things people say may öffend"you.  Thats the price you pay when you choose to post on a forum board.  Fact is you have ranted over it...you're ranting over why it took so long for him to produce it, when I wonder WHY he even had to produce it.  The days of stopping black men to show their papers are long gone.  (And don't say I'm calling you a racist now, because I'm not).  But we basically pushed aside proof of his citizenship for the indisputable proof of his citizenship.  Wasting a bunch of time and getting us no where but into fights (disputes rather, since we want to be so PC) that further splits this country.
