ORIGINAL: Marini Number one I refuse to capitalize his name, so deal. I thought we needed another bin laden, thread. Of course I am glad that we caught bin laden, very glad. I thought bin laden was going to end up dying from his infirmities or old age. Does anyone else wonder why it took 10 years to find that "person"? We have all this technology, CIA, undercover operations, top secret operatives and operations, all these secret secret police, informers, best of the best of everything in the world, and we can't find that thing that was hiding in plain sight? 10 years??? It just really makes me wonder. If he had died and we never found the body, I could understand that, but he was alive? living with his children, marrying new wives? having babies? watching t.v.? Is it just me, or does it seem a bit weird that it took so long to "locate" bin laden, especially in this day and age. Also, what about the Pakistanians, that couldn't see someone in plain sight? How much foreign aid, does the US give to Pakistan again? Hell it took them 5 years to catch Eric Rudolph. And he was hiding right here in the u.s. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1004966,00.html
